@@andyadam94 hey how has the patient transport job been? Im starting a associates radiology 2 year program next year in august and considering leaving my call center job for this.

@@devan4thepeople Hello Devan, I hope you are doing well and thank you for your comment. I worked as patient transporter for about four months and a half. I personally liked it because this job helps you know where things/places are in the hospital, and how certain equipments function. However, it's physically challenging because you're transferring patients for your entire shift. I left transport about two months ago, and I am currently working in the ICU as a technician! Patient transport job is a temporary position, and it's a great way to have your foot in the door! And to gain knowledge about the hospital. Let me know if you have any other questions! Hi! I just got hired and waiting to start. How easy is it to move up? How quick can you get a raise? I got hired minimum wage and hope to get paid a little more.

@@ericamunoz5741 It all depends on the policies of your facility, but usually, it takes about to get 6 months to get a raise. Or after your probationary period is done (usually 90 days). Double check with your department manager, or contact your HR department for more information!

Thanxs I just did my open house interview for a Patient Transporter. It went well so excited to do part time. Do you do teh whole hospital or floor? I know theirs more than one job besides transporting patients. I also vaccinated and boosted and got Covid yet lucky it was a few bad days of fever and thats yet. Thanks for the video it really helped.
