Sam just styling up at the end of trails, rain or sun, just living with endless fun. 180mm travel must feel so plush, my bikes only have 100mm (or none at all, I have a few). Canyon seem to really know what they're doing and giving Sam a shredding machine like that to play with, in his hands, with Lewi running the cameras, you know magic is going to happen.

I really wanted to get a Torque 27 as my first full suspension bike, but they are basically almost permanently sold out, even the Spectral is. Big names like you or Fabio Wibmer riding those makes it even harder to get one :D Congrats on the bike, looks like so much fun!

You can also just wait for the sale on the Specialized Status 160. If anything, the Specialized is superior because they don't do dumb things like reject your warranty for going off jumps and they have a lifetime warranty rather than a 6 year warranty.

The torque is really big, unless your trails need that much travel I’d grab a spectral 29… or even the spectral 125

@@d0nut5000 no bike parks that are massive anywhere near me, but I’ve sent it off some like 10 or 15 foot gaps and it holds up just fine I have the carbon model. If I was going to do it over again I wouldn’t get carbon just because I’m scared to break it but it’s pretty damn light

I’ve only been doing MTB for a few months and I have a canyon torque! It’s a 2020 version off eBay because I don’t have a huge amount of money but it’s got me hooked. I’ve never done an uplift and I can’t wait to get back out on the bike ! Oh and I’ve got pilgrips on it too!

I do not recommend doing this. You're not actually saving money long-term because not only are companies giving crazy deals right now, but original buyers get a great warranty. And considering how canyon is known for cracking frames, I would never buy one that didn't have a warranty.

back in 2018 I picked up my first Canyon and Torque. the bike is really an amazing beast. can handle pretty much anything you throw at it and it pedals you back to the top pretty much without flinching. i just recently sold it and was one of the harder things i've had to do in quite a while. love that bike!
