SHE HAD THE MOST BRUTAL MTB CRASH EVER!

She had the most brutal MTB crash ever at the epic Woburn Bike Park! We ride sick MTB trails on enduro mountain bikes with a big squad and things get a little crazy with big fails and huge gaps, what more could you want!?
I meet up with a big crew at Woburn Bike Park and shred some of the sickest trails on offer, starting with the top trails out in the open with perfect conditions. We hit the lines full speed and unlock some big gaps from berm to berm which ends in a few bike challenges between the crew and this is how georgie had the biggest crash I've ever seen! Luckily Gmack is the strongest girl i've ever seen and she gets up straight away to continue the ride. After this crash we decide to move deeper into the woods and ride some of the bigger jums and features on our electric bikes. This famous woods is home to some of the most fun MTB trails around and certainly didn't disappoint today. Would you ride here?

The very last time I crashed my mountain bike was very similar to that. It was in 2005 and I broke my neck. I'm glad she's alright but maybe she should be wearing a full face helmet with a protective neck brace until she gets more confident. A little extra safety is worth it if it keeps you out of a wheelchair for the rest of your life.

100%. for jumps like this you gotta be so careful. she's only 130lbs so her neck only had to take that weight... but if you're 190 or 220 lbs the neck injury risk is huge.

There are no deep thoughts at that time, just an adrenaline rush and the surreal sensation when you can't yet feel if you've broken something or not. Once the adrenaline wears off, you will start to feel the pain. Then you will slowly start processing what even happened for the next days.

I almost went over the bars yesterday at Santos, FL USA. I was at the Vortex on the small jumps, when I was leaving, I pedaled down (not fast enough) and climbed a wooden "bridge" feature that's at the base... I had not been on my MTB 5 years and 50 pounds ago. Now, there are two options to get off it, one to the left one to the right. As it turns out, I took left, without enough speed but fast enough to not be able to brake and stop in time before the ledge on the left. I pulled the bars H A R D back and landed on my front wheel, BARELY enough to roll and not crash. Committing is a big part of any jump. One thing, she was not pressured, she was encouraged. Of all things, Sam told her to do a run-up and offered professional advice.

Fair play to the lass, I received suspected broken ribs, twisted a foot and a wrist doing less on a bike. I ended up on opium based painkillers for a while as the doctors do not fix ribs anymore due heavier risks like Pneumonia setting in. Couldn't hardly breath for a few weeks and laughing was no joke...still had to get out bed and on my bike the following day for 6 mile ride to work and 6 mile back, mid January, Essex, UK.
