Is your kitchen custom made? I have an ikea metod kitchen and I would like to buy this oven but I’m concerned the cabinet won’t hold the weight as it’s heavier than IKEA’s ovens. Do you use the pyrolytic cleaning a lot. Asking this because the non- pyrolytic ones have 5 kgs less. Thanks!

I have heard that the microwave is not as powerful as a standalone unit. What type of grill is in the oven can it grill frozen foods ie chicken nugents fish fingers (kids food) thanks

This oven doesn’t have a microwave option. But it is plenty powerful. We are happy with the accurate temperatures, quick heating and cooling and the app functionality so you can change the temps sitting from the couch haha. There is a powerful element on the top which will provide direct heat and a fan/grill option. For nuggets from frozen it would probably be best to use the normal fan heating (rear element) to defrost and cook then the grill to add some crispyness :)

The microwave on these ovens (when they have it) it is not intended to warm up food like on a standalone unit but to speed cooking times up when you are roasting or baking. It is a speedoven and not exactly both an oven and microwave. I believe you should have a standalone unit as well as the iq700

We have the same oven and love it. One minor issue is when using the timer at the end it says Finsihed instead of finished! Is yours the same?

Yes we are still very satisfied! It make some noise but it’s not disturbing at all. It makes less noise than our old oven (an IKEA oven).
