You can, but i would normally leave the door open to keep an eye on the food whilst it is grilling

Do we need something to do before starting first time use of oven. Do we need to bake it at highest degree so that it will emit all bad chemicals and radiations before our first time use ?

You can do. Most of the time we would recommend putting it on the max temperature for about 15 minutes to burn off any residue or dust inside the oven.

I wonder if the knobs light up? Otherwise it looks like they would be hard to see the settings.

The knobs don't light up, but it is quite clear to see the settings on the front of the oven.

That sounds odd, it may be an issue with the Thermostat. If it is still under the 2 year warranty then i would contact Bosch to get them to come and have a look for you and get it sorted.

Great video. Why does my fan keep running when I've switch my oven off? I should have bought a simpler oven :)

That sounds correct that the fan will still be on for a couple of minutes after the oven has switched off.

When using the top/bottom type of heating to bake, does one use the 'normal' temperature given in a recipe or the fan temperature?

If its just the top and bottom heating then you would use the Normal temperature, as it doesn't have fan assistance for cooking.

It doesn't have a keep warm feature, you would just need to select a program that you can turn the temperature down to keep the food warm

Not really. I'd recommend putting it on a high temperature over 200c for around 10 minutes with everything in it to burn off any dust that may be in there before cooking in there

The markup on these ovens are incredible. It makes today’s consumer look uninformed and stupid. Think about it, a metal box, heating elements and a fan.
