Hi Chad! The pipe that you showed is not actually an exhaust pipe. That's what we call here a ram air intake. It basically replaces the original air box of the motorcycle. Air goes in unfiltered and unrestricted. LOL! RCB and YSS are also popular brands over here in the Philippines. I actually use them on my motorcycle. I just installed a YSS shock on mine recently. Did you know that RCB was used to be called Racing Boy when they were just starting out. PH riders also love those colored bolts and washers. There are a lot of enthusiasts over here that build their motorcycle based on Thailand specs. We call them Thailook. What I noticed on this video is how the shop is setup like a grocery store. Very rarely do you see that kind of motoshop over here in the PH. Usually all the parts are behind the counter and you ask the sales person if they have the part or maybe point on the part you want on display. There are helmet shops setup like this over here, but motorcycle accessories don't. I agree on getting a quality helmet. It's a must when getting on two wheels. This is a great one take! Love it!

ALWAYS good to take a bike to the shop because you WANT TO. Not so good when you HAVE TO. The prices there are awesome! The braided stainless brake lines are a great upgrade for better brake feel. As Always, May God Bless you and yours! 😇

That trip in the South was a great idea to enjoy your new bike. I went to Pitsanulok the other day and did the same trip to that amazing temple. Thanks for giving me the idea of going there. I need to explore more that area. Now, do you have the ultimate Thai motorcycle accessory? The hook! That hook on the steering column to hang the bags of take away food and groceries. Absolutely indispensable!
@CBLive404 Жыл бұрын
Awesome, that temple is unreal! Its like being a DIsney movie LOL yessss I had that hook on my PCX 150 but the XMax has a MASSIVE storage under the seat so its not really needed.
@BrassLock Жыл бұрын
I saw a lady pack her week's groceries inside her motorcycle body recently and was amazed! I just thought it was for the helmet security, but it holds as much as she carried in 2 hands.
@Alsinsin Жыл бұрын
@CB1Take yes, the space under the seat of the XMax is huge. The hook is nice because you don't even need to get off the motorcycle when you prepay online and get the shop deliver to you on the roadside

@BrassLock most funny I ever saw was in Cambodia, how they carry very large pigs on small motorcycles. The pig may not share my idea of fun, though!

Fuck yeah! Thailand offers quite an extensive list of upgrades on the cheap. We usually ship in race fairings from Thailand. They're usually 1/3rd of what you find elsewhere. The only issue is that they've near perfect replicas of leading performance parts manufacturers like Akrapovic, Graves Racing, Austin Racing n SC Project. So if you're unlucky n deal with the wrong store, you're gonna get scammed n you can forget about getting them returned or getting refunds.

It was a lot safer to drive back then during the situation. Not as many people on the streets. I remember him visiting beaches that were completely empty.
@CBLive404 Жыл бұрын
Those trips, that experaince and those videos were only possible during that time of "the situation". Once in a lifetime experaince. I learned that the past few weeks, things are a lot different now, a lot more dangerous. The Thai driving style is taking big risks, passing on blind corners at high rates of speed. This is why Thailand has the highest road deaths per captia in the world. The motorbike tours are still possible, I just don't feel comfortable riding and filming, you need to be watching out for people almost about to kill you rather than trying to film. You need to by hyper focused on riding and your surroundings with zero distractions.
@andyrbush Жыл бұрын
Bangkok during the situation was weird, like an end of the world movie. But knowing where to go and what was open when it maybe shouldn't have been was brilliant fun. Drop a few Bhatt on drinks and the parties were epic.

Be careful what and where you use those colored (Anodized) bolts and screws. I’ve seen them crack or break off in places that get to much stress especially if they get over tightened. Had a friend use them to tighten his handlebars down and he pulled a wheelie one day and the bars came off in his hands when he came down from the wheelie 😂

@CBLive404 Жыл бұрын
I did not, I just did the trip and wanted to enjoy it and live in the moments instead of trying to capture everything on video. It ended up being a good choice because it was not really an enjoyable trip with all the crazy drivers back on the road post-"situation". Those times doing tours around back then were a once in a lifetime opportunity I think.

Brake calipers and rotors front & rear. Ohlins Fork springs. Weighted barends heavy ones will help to adsorb shock & reduce arm fatigue during long rides. Brided brake hoses/lines. And get the original yamaha comfort seat( not cheap but your butt will thank you for them). 😂 Malossi clutch & bell will reduce clutch slippage during long rides. Polini hi speed variator 12 roller(do change the weight of them come in the box rollers, increase the weight of the rollers.) Rode my xmax for 79k km mileage... Good scooter but not the best. Overall it's a GOOD scooter for city roads. Anyways enjoy your sick ride. 0:02

Kinda a bummer that you choose the RCB E2 Master Pump instead of the RCB S1 (The one with the separate and bottle shaped reservoir, right behind the E2 you showed us) because the E2 won't feel much different than the standard, I have a Xmax too and I'm 100% certain that it won't feel much different, I have tried the S1 (Albeit on different bike) and it feels miles better than the E2. And one thing you need to be careful is that when choosing Brembo branded stuff because counterfeit and bootleg Brembo came from Thailand, mostly. Genuine Brembo stuff is hundreds of dollars, for example the Brembo RCS Master Pump is like $300-$350 and the axial caliper is $200ish, just be careful.
