I am a professional seamstress as well and love linen, I am also a master gardener so I love blooms, and I collect anything heirloom to do with sewing, so your new name is perfect. It's so sad you've had to change a lovely name because of someone so despicable.However,I love your new name and as I know it's you I'll continue to love your vlogs.I'm shocked Udemy have asked you to supply information that will be passed onto the fraudster surely this is illegal?Could skill space help as they are stealing from them too.Also could you contact the fraud squad in the police as their making money fraudulenly plus they could check to see if your name is being used in other ways.I'm not sure how skill space works but if you have to pay tax has this affected you?.I hope you will find all the support you need .I'm sending a massive cwtch (hug) from Wales x

I think that some of the issues are due to udemy being an American company so it’s dealing with different laws, they have replied to say that “by law” they have to have my personal details to pass onto the infringing instructor upon request, yet they can’t provide me with any of their details unless I have a subpoena issued by us court (whatever that is)? It’s bonkers! Xx

I can’t believe how difficult it’s turning out to sort. When I contacted them to say I wasn’t prepared to fill in the form with personal details, they basically said the fraudster has a legal right to know their accuser, yet when I asked for their personal details they declined unless I get a subpoena issued by a U.S. District Court. Sadly I can’t afford to get a lawyer to support with it 😔

I’m really sorry that someone of your class and talent can’t be secure in your artistic license. And that they pass your info to a cyber criminal? There are a lot of ways to hack and imitate people, but I guess it only really becomes a crime when one profits from it. Therefore that means the new to me company is propagating this persons crime.
