In VATSIM they dont ask you to go ahead or something, because you are flying IFR. The part with go ahead only exists in VFR comms. If IFRs would also do this, the already very busy frequency would be blocked with even more „useless“ comms.

Imagine anybody would only say his callsign and then an extra message for the important part of the call at major airports like Frankfurt or Heathrow…

12:53 You are used to flying VFR in germany which means that your first call is just your callsign, but when flying IFR you can start talking straight away for example Hahn tower hallo RYR 2122 ILS runway 21 and you don't need to report your aircraft or where are you from the airport this applies to every call like you are supposed to say Palma approach hello RYR 2122 passing 2100 feet, and i'm 99% sure that it works like that in real life
