My new project SAAB VS. survivor 92 SAAB 900 on BAT

A quick intro to my new '94 SAAB 900 Commemorative Edition. It's a rough junkyard rescue compared to a 92 Turbo I discovered on the Bring-a-Trailer auction website. That Saab is being sold by a dealer just a few blocks from my house. It's so original it revealed a few minor surprises.

The final auction price for the 1992 Turbo Automatic featured in this segment was $8,000. That's pretty big money for an automatic. The buyer has limited use of his legs and needed an automatic, so it's a perfect fit. Congratulations to the buyer and seller for putting a great car into the hands of a SAAB fan.

I too watched this BaT auction with interest. I own two '93s (no, not 9-3s, REAL Saabs). I have a Commemorative hatch and a Turbo 'vert 5 speed with a performance APC controller. I have no business buying another car as I have others, but...I really enjoy your videos. Sorry you weren't able to snatch this one up...I think it was worth it.

I have a 92 auto convertible like this. It has 85k miles but the paint is in bad condition because it was in a large earthquake while in the garage. It's blue and needs a new transmisison filter seal so it doesn't slip when turning but other than that is in great mechanical shape!
