In this nuanced and intimate sound genre, Dan Keen is creating some of the most interesting, compelling sample libraries to date.

This is so beautiful Dan. There's an awful lot of stuff out there but your two libraries stand out because of how they can be used to do really sensitive work - they breathe so beautifully - they are as high as any library on my list to purchase when funds allow. Brilliant! Thanks to you and your instrumentalists - and your tech partners for such great work.

I've never heard a better winds library! I honestly feel like your plugins will stand the test of time. you can really hear the passion and love you have for capturing the best sound in a unique way. I strongly feel like the name Dan Keen will be around for generations well beyond our time. Much success to you man! Love what you're doing.

Wonderful instrument Dan , a perfect compliment to soft string textures, lucky me I now have both resources. I have played with the amazing wisps section and this is truly evocative. Good luck with your new collaborations 🙏🙏🏿🎶👍

This proves my theory that dry recordings are better because then you yourself is in control of the room / reverb. I think others will follow. Spitfire for example sounds great out of the box but at the same time, their sounds are often very wet.

Sounds beautiful, Dan. I've got just about everything under the sun in sampled instruments. One thing I don't have is any saxophones, and I'd have never considered a winds ensemble involving saxes like you've done here--though, technically, the sax really is a woodwind. Great job. I'll be adding this library to my collection today.

Yes! Take my munny! Just what I’ve been looking for…or at least more of it. I saw the tease yesterday and was hoping this would be mellow winds of some sort. The string thing is great, but it’s soooo done at this point. Love the ensemble approach. That’s all I need from a winds library.

These are so incredible! This is an out there request, but theres a part of me that wishes you could someday make a Rhodes Mk1 piano library. I just feel like the way you record and script your instruments truly captures all the sensitivity, intimacy, character, and mellow quality of it. Just a suggestion. I feel like you could somehow make a rhodes that just hits in a better way than most other companies

Been a fan of fractured sounds for a while since their Woodchester piano. Their pianos are divine. Dan, I Followed your progression of the pianobook libraries and when you made the educational video of blending a piano with adding physical string parts to a sample library quartet blended with liquisonics cinematic rooms, I knew I had a great online mentor I could trust with encapsulating sound production. And partnering with fractured sounds is such a wonderful addition to a great direction in sound library creations. Congrats 🎉. Hello from Detroit.

Hi Dan, Petrichor was the first library I purchased after being dormant in making music for more than 15 years. I love it! In general, I just adore these kinds of "soft" ensemble libraries. In a way, I associate Petrichor with the Spitfire Frozen String library. Perhaps it's not a coincidence that both libraries are made by (Petrichor) or maybe just presented (Frozen Strings) by you. My broad question: I'm looking for something in the spirit of Petrichor, but for brass instruments, maybe French horns or a strange mix of brass, similar to what you've done here. Specifically, I have in mind slow-moving or sustained/swell brass sections with these small articulations, just like Petrichor, but for brass instruments instead of woodwinds. At an affordable price similar to the mentioned libraries, if possible. So far, I've found the nice SoundPaint Aleatoric Brass. Anything else come to mind? Or the big question is: is something like this in your current plans? Thanks, Giorgio
