After years of watching KZbin videos about pedal builders I have noticed that they fit into two different categories. 1- the person who started out modifying circuits and turned to building clones. 2- Actual sound engineers who have degrees and actually build pedals. Fantastic pedal! The clipping is fantastic, but the EQ is even better. I have two pedalboards I use often. I bought two Violet's, one for each of my two main pedalboards. Thanks for your collaboration with JHS. Love your playing and tones.

Eu acompanho o trabalho da Lari desde que eu a ouvi tocar no concurso da Santo Angelo, ela usava uma telecaster Tagima e uma pedaleira da Vox, naquela época eu fiquei fascinado acima de tudo com o timbre que ela tirava com esse setup, e eu achei incrível mesmo. Nice tones and playin'. In a few minutes, I heard a bunch of intervals, chords, beautiful melodic lines, etc... riffs and repertoire for half an album. All that's missing is a talented vocalist/lyricist, a solid bassist and a drummer with a lot of groove. I'll be waiting.

Im using one now for my distortion sound! before this I was using the new MXR Yngwie Overdrive combined with a Carl Martin Plexitone single and a boss EQ to get this tone similar to the JHS Violet, before that I had a JHS Charlie Brown instead of the Plexitone. I have also used an Andy Timmons @ as well. I can get my tone with the violet just by itself and with various guitars including YJM fury Strat and Charvels with JB, so happy with this sound!
