I have the 16in but i put the 22 in outer barrel on it due to the large cylinder volume shooting much better with the longer barrel. It looks sick with the 16 in version rail and the 22 in version outer rail.

Hi, quick question. I have only put in a hulk rapax spring on my stock srs and the bolt pull is hard...any suggestions?
@BlindSniper3 жыл бұрын
So the hulk is a hefty spring but there’s a few remedies for a lighter pull. Make sure the piston is lubed well (l like techT.) Also make sure the cylinder and receiver is cleaned and lubed well (wd40 ptfe dry lube seems to be the go to.) Then 90° bolt handle or some extra angle will give you more leverage when racking it. Try out overhand vs underhand too, one will easier depending on the person.

One thing that always puzzled me was why would someone whine about weight of a gun..? I mean, you can carry those literally for days without feeling exhausted 😅 And do all kinds of crawling and running, whatever you wanna do in a game. SRS A2 being that light (A1 is very light apparently also) it can have all kinds of stuff mounted to it and still be light. Then again, during my military days we used to carry about 15 kilograms worth of stuff (not counting the big bag, just harness with mags and other stuff in it) + RK62 and went out for days or a week or 2 in the woods, marched in wood terrain for tens of kilometers per day and sometimes you had to haul around that stupid useless light machinegun (kevyt KK) which was even heavier. So perhaps I compare it a bit differently 🤔 Going to get one for sure (actually 2... meaning A2 😆). My current "dmr" AEG weighs about 7 kilograms with the stuff it has and still that's easily transported around, so hauling A2 would feel like carrying nothing 😃

People just love to complain or they like to justify not spending the money on a nice gun! I never use a sling so I’m used to having to hold extra weight!!
@finnishfatman3 жыл бұрын
@@BlindSniper Slings usually get in a way, tho sometimes it's nice to throw that long DMR on your back and go pistoliero 😆 Or as my plan for when I get that SRS A2 (damn that thing just looks so good as well...) carry around my ARP556 for close encounters 😁 Then those QD slings come in handy perhaps. But yeah, damn excuses not to get a nice gun, even if it costs a bit more than the "competition". The more I research on SRS A2 the more I'm convinced you get what you pay for: a quality product.

Hi! Nice video highlighting the differences between the two. I am looking into getting an A2 and have a hard time judging what the colours options look like IRL. The tan version I always prefered due to the contrast between the colour and the black of the rest of the rifle. However... contrary to your video’s (where they is alsmost a green hue in the tan) most pictures on the internet show a bright liver like colour (which I absolutely don’t like). In your later gameplay video’s it also looks as if you are using the Olive Green version rather than the ‘tan’ you mentione in this vid. Lol I am confused and maybe you can shed some light on it. And to what extend the video represents the irl colour. Thank in advance and sorry my question is such an irrelevant one 😂
@BlindSniper3 жыл бұрын
It’s definitely a nice shade of FDE, it’s tan based though. I think it looks more green in my latest video because I’m wearing Multicam so the other colors contribute. But I am a sucker for FDE and black so I chose this one!! My second choice would be black, and then probably OD green last. Hope that helped!!
@nirodha70283 жыл бұрын
@@BlindSniper Thanks bud! Yeah I have been prefering the FDE version ever since the A1 came out! Does that Nov suppressor actually work well on a spring bolt action or just the SSX/Mk23?
@BlindSniper4 жыл бұрын
Averell Chen I have the larger novritsch suppressor, it would be a bit big for a pistol. People bash the nov suppressor and say they are “thin metal” but as long as you have metal tube with quality foam inside it will greatly reduce sound. Especially with gas/hpa rifles. The srs is a great platform that can easily have reduced sound. Adding a suppressor makes it pretty darn quiet!!

Ag3ntofkarma no prob, I am by no means an SRS expert. I’m new to the platform. But as far as variables for fps output; generally heavier pistons drop the fps. Can i install an a1 hop up chamber like "the last" from maple leaf in the a2 srs?

Yes chambers are the same. I had 2 different fast hops and one was a little tighter in my a2. But the current ones fits nicer. I’d recommend a fast hop or kraken chamber though. Also, after you remove your chamber for whatever reason, make sure you de burr the spot where the set screw pressed against chamber. If not it can get stuck in your outer barrel
