In todays video, I talk about the new solar gear I got for my crypto mining trailer 🌞💻. I received 16 big 495-watt bifacial solar panels and a 6000 XP inverter, along with other components like batteries, cables, and surge protectors 📦🔋. I unbox everything and check it out, explaining how each part works and mentioning a mix-up with the types of batteries I received. I go into detail about the inverter and other components and share my plan to build a gazebo to hold the solar panels and organize the equipment inside my trailer 🏡🔧.

That is amazing. ok, so... - if you can tie a gene into it, does that mean you can have wind turbines as a 2nd power sources, or is the gene input just as an auto transfer switch kinda thing? - do the PV isolator switches double as a breaker, or are they just a switch? - how do you plan to take advantage of the bifacial panels? Bro, this makes me miss solar so bad lol. Setting it up and wiring up the panels, the controller, the batteries.... was so fun!

YES you can tie the 6000XP into the 18K as the “generator” so why not?! PV Isolator is just a switch I think not 100% sure tho. Bifacial will grab the reflection of my fence and just the grass below should work out lovely!

Very slick. Hard to believe you were only using 100 watt panels previously I can't wait to see the higher wattage panels (800 watts) go on the market; yes they're out there just not widely available (of course) yet.

You have the communication hub to see in info that you'd normal see on the batteries, that's why you've got batteries without the screens built in as once they are locked in the rack you can't see the screens hench the hub

over 200 cykles and batteries should not be combined with other batteries.. you might end up with a hot battery, so growatt says 200 cykles.. maby dont use the batteries to much before you get the others i get 200w on my 550w backside, thats a big difference from the 400w to the 500w it is the double effect from the backside just hooked my new panels up today, those 550w bifacial rocks compared to normal 550w my guess is the solar panels get burned no matter what it is just a protector between the panels and your house. it wont protect the miners from the lightening hitting the grid of you hook up 110v/220V my gues it you put 1 protector in each end of the string to make sure the lightening can leave the string EPS emergensy power supply, so you run a island that is not grid connected if the grid goes down when you are on the grid. eps cant be connected to the grid it needs to be a sepperate outlets and fuses you can get extra equitment that can connects eps to your normal outlets, so the batteries automaticly take over when grid goes down

If you're ever planning on moving ( towing ) the trailer with everything in it , balancing the weight distribution will be of the utmost importance !! Otherwise , when you tow , the unbalanced weight may lead to fishtailing or other undesirable towing characteristics. Also , the more weight you place forward of the center of balance , the harder your trailer jack will need to work to lift the trailer for hitching . You may find it necessary to install an electric ( 12 V ) trailer jack depending on your physical capabilities .

Don't get me wrong, i love solar and crypto mining but the off grid solar is a massive outlay for a few KS0 miners. Not doubt you plan on getting more miners but you will be limited.

Instead of spending chump change on that low cost, lightweight, short lived, high frequency, transformerless inverter, you should have spent a few more buck and bought yourself a real inverter that uses low frequency, transformer based inverter. You would have an inveryer with a far longer life expectancy and a much higher surge capacity to power your high inductance loads

This inverter can handle 8000 watts of solar panels and they are sold as a kit. The 16 panels if you can get the MAX 495watts = 7,920 watts (you will never get 100% of the panels). But this was sold as a full kit which is engineered through signature solar. 🤙🏻

@@ChumpChangeXD that is not how it works you need to know that the inverter can take 480v and on the back of the panel you can find how many volts OCV if it is 48v you connect only 9 panels

that 6000XP inverter is a POS. it has such a specific use case that unless you have batteries its nearly useless. I returned mine.

Yes you need to have a battery hooked up to use this unit. If your going solar you should have batteries anyways... I think this unit is fantastic to be honest. I need to start using it but from all the videos ive seen on it, this unit is a beast for its size and price.
