Been using my sealer for about a month now. I love it. Meat I would ordinarily forget about in the fridge, now gets sealed and stored in the freezer. Bought one pound of bulk Italian sausage. Divided into four parts and sealed each. When I want a bit of flavor to ground beef, etc., it is within reach. Buy an entire side of salmon from Costco. Cut into serving pieces and seal. Now I need a larger freezer ... LOL. Those carrots are gorgeous.

Hello Kevin! I was in the Adirondack’s this past week and had a chance to visit Tierra Farms on my way back home to Medford. Lovely farm and I purchased some organic nuts and the coffee smelled amazing! Their heirloom tomatoes are very delicious! I picked up some granola as well. The drive was so nice and the mountain air ( we stayed on Schroon Lake) was invigorating and we slept so soundly. Lake George was fun, we did a narrated boat ride on the Mohican that was very informative. We found a hidden gem of a restaurant called Cafe Adirondack. The dinner we had was so good and I wished we had found it when we first arrived. I thought of you as we drove to the Hudson Valley. Your area is beautiful and I hope this finds you and your family safe and healthy. Always look forward to your videos!🤗💕🙏

I didn't grow any carrots in my garden this year, but I did buy some pretty good organic carrots at the grocery store yesterday. I was looking for some vitamin A and carotene. Your carrots look absolutely beautiful! Amazing. I was thinking about making some carrot ginger soup. I like the idea of blanching and freezing. I don't have a nifty sealer like the one you've got, but can do something like that using a straw to take the air out of the bag. Not as perfect a seal, but okay. Fun to see Avery in the garden. She looks so happy and content. I think she "booped" the camera. Cute puppers. The Tex Mex baked potato sounds wonderful. Especially good idea for fall winter supper, when you can't think what to make. Think of all of the soups and stews you will make with the frozen vegetables. The table looks lovely as per usual, by the fireside. Kevin, I think I watched too much news and politics this week and made me feel a little down, but literally just from watching your video, the gray cloud is lifting. Thank you for the video. You have such a calming and reassuring effect on your viewers.Take care and have a great weekend. See you in the next video.♥️🐕💐🥕🥬🍅🥔🧀🫑🌶️🧅🍷

Hi again Kevin, I just wanted to let you know that I plant a carrot variety called Envy because it stores well ( I don't care for frozen carrots ). The best way for me to store my carrots is to leave them in the garden, covered by a thick layer of straw. They last very well this way, even if a few get nibbled by our little neighbors. I live in the very northwest corner of PA and the ground doesn't freeze solid until February. As long as I remember to dig them in January all's well. After that they're good for another month or so in the fridge. Blessings!
