The horses standing while you were trimming limbs were funny to watch. Boys will be boys while Dad isn’t watching, they straighted right up when you finished trimming and walked to the front. LOL 😂👍❤️🐎

How very kind you and the horses were able to carry your neighbor who passed away to his final resting place. On a lighter note, Earl and Barron were cracking me up pestering each other! Typical of a little brother acting out with his big brother!🤣😁😂 I know that behavior is not how you want them to act, but it was so funny how they straightened right up when dad was watching them! Typical little brothers!😘 Glad you have the sleigh ride wagon ready for business this season!!! Know what would be pretty, add some little battery operated lights and pine garland one each side!!!! Those branches you cut off the hemlock would be perfect (and easy) to make the garland!! Attach some red bows and you have a festive wagon for sleigh rides!!!!! I've bought battery operated Christmas lights anywhere regular Christmas lights are sold.

Baron and Earl looking good today. Baron looks like he is ready to get to pulling stomping his front hoof. At 6:10 in the video, Baron almost looks like he is wanting to go faster even pulling the log. Baron has turned into such a good puller. Earl was being mischievous, and nibbling at Baron, but I see Baron was doing some nibbling of his own. Brothers will be brothers! Question, What makes them want to bite at the front hitch? Sorry for your loss and for your farming community. Thoughts and prayers for all. Thanks to Jim and Brenda for being there when a family is in need. You folks are such a blessing!

Really fun to see a tree turn into a wagon bed. Really nice job on that wagon,Jim. Just a friendly suggestion. I’m 81 years old and in great health, but my doctor said to try to avoid a fall at all cost. He said after 80 you don’t heal up as fast. He said the use a handrail whenever you go up or down a step, you will decrease the chances of falling by up to 80%. It took me six months to get in the habit of always using a handrail. For the steps on the back of your wagon, maybe you could put a pole or maybe even two on each side of the steps that can be set in and pulled out as people got off and on the wagon. You don’t need a railing, just a pole or two to hang on to. You said the first step was kind of high. Just a little stepstool will solve that problem. You could find a place to hook it on your wagon and carry it along. None of this is necessary with young people, but I know many elderly people, including myself would love a sleigh ride.

Boy I sure love those big hemlock, when I was little, my older brother came back to the house and told me they were getting Hemlock an axe handle and a half , almost 2 axe handles across the stump as logs were harvested down in the big swamp for the new addition onto the barn. That's some big Hemlock, the big logs would stall the big circular saw blade when a tooth would hit a hard knot and stop! and the big D8 would blow black smoke, the blade had to be leveraged back and restart the cut. I miss those days and that old mill sometimes.. Nice job on the wagon Jim , looks good and multifunctional, good idea. The comment about your Dear neighbor friend being layed to rest, lays ground for mentioning my brother'nlaws untimely passing, as he had complications in Surgery. I worked out (and hikes) with him every time I went to Wisconsin, he was in great shape, they suspect a blood clot. He was like my best friend so this Alaskan Winter will be a little colder than normal but we'll see it through. Please say a prayer for him, and I for your friend. Smooth sailing, and peaceful rest. The place to lay him down is up on a hill and the rear wheel drive could not make it, sure could have used Ken and Bill on that steep hill to the final resting place by his folks. Gone too soon. Back to w.h.w.J. Thank you. I like to listen to your sawmill engine talk, those carbs have small air flow passages and a little sawdust can cause havock, air filtration important in a dusty environment. Nice Work... (I am glad I took the time to spend it with him and my sister, you might remember my Sister checked on flights for me.) Quality time with the ones We Love, so important. Merry Christmas coming up. All My Love. Words...just get in the way. 😊

You could make a driver's seat, just a 2 x 12 with cleats on the underside to hold it in place set crosswise on those sideracks. I'm getting to be an old man in my thinking... I'd also put a footrail up there to brace against in case of anything going wrong. Wagon looks great otherwise!

PG here Great height in the first shot (opening clip!) Showing the pine tree coming down. It could be a cedar tree, but ours does not get that tall around here. We have taken down over 50 trees and bushes. 2007-2013 clearing overrun yard. Women around 23, 25, 47 years old. It isn't something we do every day. But it is always an adrenaline rush when a tall tree comes down. I wrote a blog about a dream I had with the word ***Hemlock*** in it. I did some research. The tree smells like the poisonous plant. That is how it got it's name. But it isn't poisonous like the plant. Wokepedia: Tsuga from Japanese, the name of Tsuga sieboldii) is a genus of conifers in the subfamily Abietoideae of Pinaceae, the pine family. The English-language common name "hemlock" arose from a perceived similarity in the smell of its crushed foliage to that of the unrelated plant hemlock. Unlike the latter, Tsuga species are not poisonous. 30 minutes later: PG here, I actually used the word hemlock in 3 blogs, then read them out loud on video last February. Right then, I was in and out of the hospital twice and almost died. I think God was telling me I was poisoned??? I think it's meaning was for the CIA's operation Hemlock, as in writing with poisonous ink. I am much healthier than I was then, thanks to God rescueing me with his love and spirit. I never miss a video. Thank you!
