Today's video is a bit of a dive into a few of the ideas floating around in my head over the last few weeks. I'm not really one for new year's resolutions but January always has this way of inspiring a fresh start so here's a few goals I have for myself moving forward.

Mate, keep it up! Your video quality is improving, I like the new space; maybe throw up some posters and accent lights and you're set. I've learned a lot from your videos and if I ever post my covers, I'm definitely giving you a shout. My question to you is, at what point are you taking the skills you've built to write your own music? That's where I want to take this live loop thing, but songwriting is new to me. Also, have you considered adding a MIDI keyboard with Ableton like Ed does live? Cheers, look forward to your new covers and tutorials this year. P.S. good luck on the exercise journey, and you're not a fraud just watch some Paul Davids and Rotem Sivan videos and you'll improve your guitar playing and theory instantly.

Hey Gilberto, Thanks so much for your kind words. It's always nice to hear when someone is enjoying my videos and getting something out of them. I have absolutely considered the midi controller and Ableton thing. In fact, I use Ableton Live Lite as my DAW these days, so it would make sense to give it a go. Having never done it at all, I'm not even at beginner level with software looping, though. I do want to work more on some original stuff once I move into the new space (it should be ready in around March/April time) but up to now, I only have the 1 single out.
