My new lava 3 is on an infinite loop downloading version 2.1.3. I can’t get past the ‘to install the update, please charge to 40%’ I’m plugged in at 54%. Any tips?

Sure! It's actually a combination of the built-in piezo in my Taylor and an LR Baggs M1 Active, which is a magnetic soundhole pickup

Thanks for the video! The thought of having to pay 85 us dollars is more than my mind can handle! I just bought my PRS Special a couple of years ago. I’m not a professional musician… I just goof around for fun. I’ve never owned a guitar that eats strings like this one. Mine even breaks the low e string as well as the a, d, g, b and high e! I’m not going to buy the new saddle. I might try to modify my existing one. However, I appreciate your video! I thought I was doing something wrong!😂 I will be subscribing to your channel! Does the 500 have a overdub decay parameter like pigtronix and ehx? Where overdubs fade-out as long as you stay in overdub mode?

I doubt that it is capable of quantisizing the loops like Digitech or Boss pedals do. Calculating the time /bars is essential.

It is only essential depending on what you want to do. For my use case, quantizing is not essential at all, as long as my timing is good, which it usually is.

Ok, I believe that, but what I meant is, no matter how good you timing is: did you nail the button right or did you land on it a little oblique so that your timing was good, but the release of the button was a bit late? I have seen demonstrations here showing that quite some testers had a little gap in their loop not even realizing it.. 😊 With calculating units, you don't even think of terms like "timing" they produce clean loops no matter how you hit the switch... Which is quite an advantage in live situations. I have a good timing too, but I have more fails than with the calculating units. Also the loop ends /starts with the release of the button - might not be audible but it is later than you felt it.

Has LAVA become a reputable guitar building company? What would make LAVA disreputable? Because they're new? Because they make guitars from non-wood materials? No, there are plenty of ALL of those, and nobody questions if the companies are reputable. Let he market decide. Can't wait for Apple to come out with its own "i-guitar".
