Perfect for the river......... would want a hydraulic jack plate...... Enough room in back for 4 batteries, Power pole pumps, and on baord charger.....??? hard to see... Like the floor plan..... Simple but really functional.......... Thanks for sharing Rich...

I don't know why any builders don't have the lids on live wells to open to the side or outside so prevent losing fish while putting in . I can tell from experience I have . Meaning the Lid would be bearer or block them ya know

I think the newer basscats may angle that way. On my boat input myself on the outside and have my weigh bag between the seat to block fish from escaping

It appeared you were impressed with the front deck space. You really need to look at a Bass Cat Caracal before you jump into a Caymas. I think you will great appreciate the Bass Cat quality over the other.

I tried to order a Saber SP this week and basically got talked out of it from a dealer because the production backlog is 8 months. So that made up my decision to go buy a Skeeter. Ive never owned one so we will see how it goes.

I looked really hard at the Caymas CX19. I ended up buying a Phoenix 819.

@@HellaBass I only looked at the 919 online not in person. I didn't see a point in 25 more hp but no change in fuel capacity. To me it didn't sound like it was going to be worth the added cost.

I have the 921Phx Phoenix and love it. But these caymas boats have definitely caught my eye. And will be a contender if I ever decide to get a new boat.

@@HellaBass this boat is a Cadillac on the water. I'm in Arizona and fish Havesu. And during the summer months when it's 20mph winds and there's hundreds of pleasure boaters I can travel the main lake at 65. Trim down a little to break the wave as you come down and it handles great. Smoothest boat I've ever riden in. I'd like to see how the caymas rides. Hopefully you do a video of it if you ride in one.

19ft guy myself and totally understand the reason you don't want a 21ft. I'm running a 2020 Nitro Z19 right now and absolutely love it! Tourney loaded with livewells and two guys,only ticking 66 or so. But, and a big but! It is an absolute rocket out of the hole! I move around a ton on the water and it suits me super great! Would love to ride in the caymas, very similar layout to mine and would like the advantage of the 225. Love the colors on that one too!!

Is the fuel door on the boat, on the same side as your tow rig? Might be a pain to refuel boat, then turn around or go to another fuel pump, for the boat.

I got to ride in one over the weekend at the Ozarks, SUPER nice boat and it ran freaking awesome. It was perfect for a co angler, as the back right hatch had PLENTY of room for a bag plus extras. And those rubber steps on the very back gave me a good sturdy step when I had to make some weird casts. The livewells are HUGE as well.

21 ft the only way to go , that boat very small forward for fishing and rear , fuel tank up front bad idea to get boat on plane and in rough water
