That is why I kept more eclipse in my ninja deck than moon. Moon is mostly for defense and resolving Hanzo when he is targeted with imperm. Moon just doesn’t do enough when opponent spams out monsters. Eclipse is for offensive and defensive. It’ll at the very least out an ash. It doesn’t target and will shut off the whole board. Setting eclipse with a set dancing leaves is powerful too. The drawback is getting Ashed or giving your opponent extra cards to draw if you don’t completely out their board of monsters.

Gonna be honest imo ninjas are surprisingly good but they just get completely destroyed in some scenarios, the mirror sucks, can quite easily open no good starters etc. but it can win on a surprisingly bad hand if played well because the good cards are just really good especially in conjunction with strong generic cards that are honestly worth running anyway. but yeah the new cards are all really good but it feels like they need some cards that every other deck seems to get like a rota etc. surprised they haven't gotten one tbh

It can be but you'd need to drastically change the build for it to have value and in the end that'll mean adding more bricks. Not worth it for the niche situations and rare occasions of wanting to give up 2 warriors to make it.

Theres two ways I can think of to make Isolde worthwhile without adding out-of-engine cards. 1. First effect to add Kagen, which can still be used as a pend scale. 2. First effect to add any other ninja, second effect to send Iron Digger and summon Tobari, giving you a name to use with it in hand as fusion material. Neither of these are particularly good, though. You need to have two face-up warriors, which isnt easy with the current build, since Kagero and Green both make the thing theyre extending from flip face down. Even if you do get that done, all it realistically gives you is Tobari, which is easier to set up using Saizo and Dupe/Leaf. As for Kagen, youd need to be running the pendjas in the first place, and already have the other scale in hand, or else have 4 equips in deck to summon Hanzo for it. You can use it in variants with cool out of archetype techs like Gearfried or Renaud, but are those any better than regular Ninja? Thats the question.
