I'd forgotten how hard posting was in the beginning, haha... It really is second nature now, but if you'd told me 2 years ago it would be as easy as breathing one day I would have laughed in your face, it was so hard, and I double bounced SO MUCH, poor dear Rebecca, she was a saint! It's always crazy to think about how far you have come, she looks like she could be quite good with some practice, she follows the motion well! Such a lovely horse, too! Okay, I'm mad now, her canter is,so much better than mine, and I have been working on it for several months, off and on... My bum slaps the saddle, and I can never find the rhythm... MUST MASTER CANTER ASAP...😐 I need a lunge lesson, that's the only way I'll get it, it was same with sitting trot...

Long time ago, kids at school used to tease me because I smell like hay and horses. One day I invited them to trail ride after school. They learned how to pick hooves, groom, bridle and saddle the horses. Later, when back at the barn, they learned how to cool them off before watering, then hay & feed them - all without help only verbal instruction. They never teased me again

Ellie, you must try riding in a saddle with a bigger spine clearance for your british team horse, mine did the same with fairfax. Try like scheleese, or stride free any saddle with bigger spine. Most saddle narrow to the back. Using a wool sheepskin that tucks into the spine chanel makes the spine with even smaller.

Thanks for your opinion, but I use the best master saddle fitter in the UK for my horses so their saddles are fine 😊 I personally think the stride free’s are awfully uncomfortable. I only use a gel pad/fluffy pad if advised to by my saddler 👍🏻
