what do you think about running 1 Gustav Max for time?

I think is a great flex, but summoning gustav or lieb is mostly only under "already winning" state. And this deck thrives on mantaining the winning condition with Svalinn. That said, this deck has a lot of room in the extra deck... so if I had i, i would def add it. Woulnt buy it though (i am a cheap player).

Can you use scapegoat instead of hippo carneval?

No because you cannot special summon other monsters the turn you use scapegoat.

Theoretically. Yes. If u go second f.i. nordic valkyire. Descard two monsters get coral dragon, then synchro with second token. . First aesir. Then the lightblue elf which lets u special. Special gulinbursti, use effect special green elf. Link blue elf. Use green elf, special ivaldi, get relict search. Drop 2 into grave. Use relict, special nordic ascendant which can level manipulate, manipulate level use ivaldi to synchro. I think this should work

if you can compete with another player and play against them, then it is competitive. All decks are competitive.
