Green Beret, Batman, Robocop are games I've only ever played on the mighty Speccy 😉 Gremlins 2, SMB2 (Doki Doki Panic) SMB3, and Castlevania are all NES games that I've played now. Great video 😎🤣

Awesome collection of your nostalgic NES games mate, great hearing your memories of them all. My brother and me sold our Vectrex to buy a NES BITD and my nostalgic games are Super Mario Bros, Life Force Salamander, R.C. PRO-AM, Pin-Bot and the almighty Blades of Steel! Had loads of fun with all those games. Was funny hearing about you in Debenhams, just think I was in that very same store remember queueing to play on the electronic games, Grandstand Tron especially. Great memories 😊

thanks mate its taken some time to obtain these games complete and for a good price I think the only one I maybe paid over the odds for was gremlins 2 but when I see the condition of it at the London gaming market I couldn't resist lol oh wow you had the vectrix bitd that's awesome. hahah how mad that you could have been in that same queue bitd waiting for a turn on the nes kiosk in Debenhams lol life force is a cracking game on the new my mate had that one I need to add, R.C pro am is on my list still to get as my brother owned that one bitd

Great video there Scott, all those NES games look amazing and would have loved all of those no question. Sadly the only time I ever got to play a NES was in a toys and camping store which had a demo kiost upstairs with the 10 games selector on it so me and my best mate always stayed on there until we got moved on by the manager😅 great times. I missed out on some classics.

Nostalgia and quality over quantity really is the way, Scott! Sure, it's always nice to take the occasional punt but sticking to the cream of the crop is the best way to enjoy and appreciate systems, I find! Some really top games there, most of them I've played. My wallet is itching now though, feel like taking a trip down ebay way haha

My collection is full of Sega but I also appreciate games released only on the Nintendo consoles and I think keeping a focus on games I experienced and have fond memories of will definitely help me appreciate the Nintendo consoles and the nostalgic collection of games im building. hahaha i hope this video docent hit your wallet to hard mate

Besides the Mario,Zelda such games I liked,( and still do), dudes with attitude, wizards and warriors, baseball stars, faxanadu, monopoly,star tropics 1&2,rollerball,pinball quest, adventure island to name a few.

The NES was the first system I can recall owning as a child. It was a family console that came out every now and then. The only games I can remember are double dragon 2 which has to be my favourite and duck hunt. Obviously I know of the mario games but I remember them more from the super mario all stars game on the SNES. I did not know that Mario 2 was originally a different game...makes sense with how different it is. I live the soundtrack of that first level and enjoy the game but maybe not as much as the others.

Duck hunt what a game, Its mad how Mario alstars brought the mario nes games to a whole new generation. I don't think I've ever played double dragon 2 on the Nes I have a lot of nostalgia for the original but that was on the master system

Apart from Mario 3 the nes is all new to me, enjoying finding new/old games to play and enjoy. A few I've never heard of, used to enjoy hostages, didn't know there was a nes version. Rush n attack is on my neeeeeeeed list. Never liked Mario 2, castlevania is another I need to hoover up. You need to practice stacking them up mate 🤣. Great picks.

Hostages is such a nostalgic one due to playing it on the micros its not that its a great game and without the nostalgia its probably a bit pants lol but the fact me and my brother would spend hours trying to finish it rush n attack I think is a must own on the Nes castlevania I would say is probably the most pricey game in my nostalgic set so far yes I don't have your steady hand in stacking those games I usually have the Sega wall to prop these games up on hahahah

this video brings back memories of being at a mates house and him constantly playing punch out, megaman, turtles and Mario 2 back in the early 90's. These retro gaming videos make me reflect on what games I want to finally complete now being almost 47 - these games are usually ones I saw in the mags such as mean machines back in the day or ads in comic books. I would love to hear what retro games if any are on your bucket list to complete.

its good to hear that this video has brought back loads of memories of you playing games with your mates bitd, Punch out is a game I still need to get for my nostalgia set and its a game me and my mates and brother played a lot bitd, their are loads of games on my bucket list to complete every few months I go on a mission to complete mega drive games I didn't bitd back to the future 3 being one of the most challenging and recently I finished beeves and butthead lol, on the Nes I definitely want to complete gremlins 2

@@SEGAZombie nice I have crossed of the bucket list Super Metroid , super ghouls and ghosts and ghouls n ghosts on the Megadrive in the last couple of years and almost contra 3. The first 2 contra games and punch out are on my to do list along with mega turrican, un squadron and actraiser on the SNES. As I get older (almost 47) I feel I need to cross a few more games off the list to feel satisfied. Once I get a mister ghost n goblins is one I'm looking forward to beating and robocop both games I was hopeless at as a kid in the arcades.

Excellent video Scott. I enjoyed hearing your memories of each game. You and your brothers had a really good taste in games. I definitely share sentiments with some of the ones you mentioned. I'm a bit gutted I never experienced Gremlins 2 as a kid as I know I would have really liked that. I really enjoyed that film too back in the day. Still do. I only had 5 games back then and that includes the one that came bundled with my system. Fortunately loads of my mates had NES systems as well so I did get to try quite a few different titles including games such as Batman, Castlevania and SMB2 which I have a big soft spot for. Absolutely loved how different it was compared to the first. My go to characters were Mario and Peach. Sometimes Toad. Luigi was unplayable to me. Couldn't get on with him at all 😅.

thanks Rob, Its crazy how many memories we hold for these games they come flooding back holding the games in your hand playing them and hearing the music the nostalgia flows... oh mate gremlins 2 was purchased solely on the fact that our family loved those movies and the fact the game was in the bargain bin at woollies hahahah bitd it was so important to have different games to your friends as opportunities to own especially console games were few and far between I remember me and my mates would plan what games to get rather than ending up getting the same gameslol yes Mario 2 is such a special game and like wise I could never get on with Luigi hahahaha

@@SEGAZombie I would totally do the same thing with my mates. We always tried to get different games. I wanted SMB2 but since my mate had it it was off the table. Another mate had tmnt so I never went for that either. I did have SMB 3 which scored me a lot of points with my mates. The swap value of that game got me a lot of hands on time with classics like Ninja Gaiden, Castlevania etc 😅
