In all honesty, we all should be able to live in a studio , if you live alone. Over consuming will never bring you happiness. You just believe material things bring joy. I moved from Chicago to Nevada and I got rid of 90 percent of my belongings. Now I actually wear my clothes and my home is spotless. I notice I'm less stressed. and im more aware of what I buy.

Your comment interest me because I live in Illinois and have decided to move to Las Vegas in another year. I have downsized a lot. I have also purchased this that is multi purpose. I even changed my color scheme to neutral, my wardrobe as well buying only quality clothing. It’s all saving me money and time. Now got to work on overhauling my grocery list.

I sold my townhouse and all the stuff went with it china, glasses whole bunch of extra things and I never missed anything. Actually the new place is so easy to keep clean. The closets never looked so good. I straighten them up in minutes and just generally like I said easy to keep clean.

The only thing I say about this is that a lot of 1 bedrooms are about the same price as a studio of course depending on the size

I could tell where the couch was from. They look nice online but when you get them they are really uncomfortable. It is best to get a good couch that is comfortable. I had to report my issue with the couch, no good.

I know, right!! Despite her being short on space she made not one but TWO small areas for her cat. I'm even more impressed that she created a separate living room area for herself and a separate area for her daughter's mini room area. OMFG!!! Seriously this is the type of stuff that needs to be on HGTV. You don't need to me a millionaire for your place to be on TV. Thank god for KZbin, this girl is inspiring me!!!

I’m a mom in a one bedroom and I gave my daughter the dining room area as a play space and she has a folding bed next to my bed

My first apartment was a studio. I loved it because it was designed with 2 large closets, a great bathroom and large kitchen. I was 20. I'm older now and redesigning my life after divorce. I'm finally able to move into a q bedroom but using a studio mindset to keep things simple and decluttered.

I love your home. I did a 1 bedroom. With my Daughter. She got the room. I got a daybed in the livingroom. And I kept it. All the years I raised her. I figured with the extra money I was able to do things with her. That I wouldn't be able to do. If I had a 2 bedroom. We didn't have the internet. So I cleaned houses. I wish you well. I like your work ethic. You will go far in your life.

Well laid out - good use of space. Cute. It looks like you could use a narrow table in the kitchen (over the trash bin and other items) to fit that space and act as more counter space.

You can place baking soda powder,or epsom salt,or charcoal deodorizer in your closets,near hampers,trash bins & cat's litter box.I love baking soda.

Wow! I learned alot from this video. At 61, I'm still trying to learn to organize. You demonstated how you and your "mini-me" can make it work! Don't fret over not having a dining room table. Most people never use them anyway.

I love the light pink decor of your studio. It adds a lot of warmth to the space, which is probably a good thing, considering you are from Chicago, which gets a little chilly from what I hear! (I'm from Toronto, so I know the feeling). Love the kitty. So cute!

Very organized. I love all the pink! I left my studio because I didn’t think I could live there with my daughter but my studio was a bit bigger than yours and we definitely could have stayed if I had a bath tub. Good job

Lovely apartment. You should get the Sink Topper. It's the best thing ever for bathrooms with no counter space. I love mine because its heat resistant so I don't burn my counter and it's strong. I got mine on Amazon in red because that's the only color they had but now they have a black one. I prefer the black but whatever.

Remove the dish rack to free up space on the countertop and use your dishwasher to hang your dishes to dry. I saw a friend do this and I’ve been doing it every since ❤

First of all let me tell you you're a wonderful mother.. I not only love your place it's one of the best places I've ever seen.. I love that you gave Riley her own space that's exactly what she needed. I love how your bedroom is in its own little nook it could be a one-bedroom.. if it had a wall in front.. if you wanted to make it separate you can get a folding screen. They make such beautiful screens nowadays that fold.. but otherwise I just love that it's by itself makes it feel like a one-bedroom.. and I love whatever part of the house you're in Riley has her own space.. beautiful mother, beautiful daughter God Bless You All!!

Very nice cozy place. My niece has everyone take off shoes at door to help keep her place cleaner and no scuff marks on floor. Might help keep your rug cleaner after you shampoo it.👍😉

Beautiful space. Years ago we purchased a toy hammock (not sure if that's the right name) for all of nieces stuffed animals. You can hang it low enough that she can still reach her animals, but it will free up your floor space.

Girl!!! I love Wayfair and have several pieces from there BUT my sofa...sooo uncomfortable!!! I feel your pain!! At the very beginning of the pandemic I literally purchased a new sofa from Ashley Furniture. Being home so much made me realize how uncomfortable it was.

Yes it’s horrible I always thought it was because it was such a little couch that’s why it was so uncomfortable but a few people have said there couches are uncomfortable from there

I like the space you set up an area for your daughter. Just a suggestion but you could very easily set up that same area as a bedroom for her. A twin bed would fit in there perfectly.Ther are tons of things you could use to separate the area without loosing light. It is such a cute and comfortable looking apartment. Ty for sharing.

Suggestions: move your bed in the space where you have Riley's play place. Add a divider. Put Riley's things where your bed is now. You can even get a futon for Riley and she'll have her own play/sleeping area

Absolutely love your studio it is beautiful and I love how you made a space perfect for your daughter that has her own theme. Raising my daughter I shared a studio, a one bedroom, and even just a room her and now she is 30 and we're best friends she's married with two children and her own to home it's so fun to see her children living in an huge home with a huge backyard but she never has once complained about living in a small space with me her whole life. I think it's because we were blessed to share a lot of time together and extra love!

Yourself… sometimes I find ppl on here that doesn’t come on camera with lots of makeup ( no shade) on daily because most ppl it’s not realistic + organic.
