I used to teach law using cartoons and videos (as it was tort law there was opportunities to use lots of explosions and accidents) vision is a very effective learning tool Using a split screen is fantastically effective. I’ve reduced the speed to .75 which also helps I’m also going to experiment with adding to my left hand tab the right hand in parallel. This may be just a diversion /complication in the process. Probably better to try to use my ears🤪Dooh! Thanks again

When I started learning guitar, ears were all you had, plus occasional fleeting glimpses of guitar heroes on TV. As for teaching, I still have dreams of the mid-19th century Grammar school room with high ceilings and only a roller-board with surfaces worn smooth making it impossible to write on unless you kept spitting on the chalk. Not the best visual-aid resources at your disposal for teaching Economics and Accountancy, but certainly a lesson in how to think fast on your feet and adapt. It still trumped trying to teach computer programming though to 25 students sat looking at screens with the messsage "NO LOGINS" staring them in the face. Happy Days - miss the students but certainly not the toe-rags who handed out the timetables and room schedules, or the dinosaurs who invested in time-shared systems rather than personal computers!
