i can't stop smiling ...this brought back up so many memories...young black Jamaican gay teen figuring out himself and feeling alone, stumbles onto this show on some bootleg streaming site. I was instantly hooked. Coming home from school, hoping that my mom was gonna stay out late so I could watch each episode without having to look over my shoulder lol. fantasizing that I would find my own chosen family and falling in love with a dude someday .........years later I'm now living with my bae of almost 3 years and I have a very similar group of friends. wow, This show is what made the idea possible in my mind. Patrik Ian Polk, was so ahead of his time with this one. Tyler P., Lee D. and Patrik got to make something happen soon collectively. Logo literally did a disservice by shutting this series down and not letting it breathe. Most that watched this show cared about the characters instantly!!!! The only thing about life, You don't know what You have until it's gone. Even though there was a movie to tie up all the loose ends of the series, I still missed Noah & The Crew. This came out when I was 17. I remember them coming to Boston to promote the pilot. Wade and Noah and the director that is. They were great. Wade's character was always masculine to me and still is. For me, the obviousness of his being gay came from his open-ness in his attraction to Noah. It's not surprising though because we meet Noah and Wade after they'd already been hanging out for a while and nature had already taken its course. Plus, while it was written in that Wade did have some issues with being able to tell people he and Noah were boyfriends (not abnormal for a man who'd lived his life up until than as a masculine heterosexual male in American society), he still wasn't billed as a full-on closeted, ashamed guy.
