Gotta love it when a free mod has exponentially better modelled, textured, animated and sounding creatures than the base game, with the most engaging taming methods that don't feel at all out of place. Massive round of applause for Garuga and their legendary modding skills

Not to mention better colors. Ark in base has a garbage tier color pallet every dino is either some dull dark color or some neon mess. the Additions mod colors are well balanced and just hit different that and paleo ark have just unmatched beautiful looking dinos

Cryolopho is underrated af actually. They're super op in packs. I used an army of rhem against the alpha monke. Yes they were mutated 100 health/melee points. But when they're full on cryo liquid and u enable all ai special attacks on each. The monke has 0 seconds to unfreeze. The moment it hits them. They get knocked back and instantly in the ice breath stance. It stood no chance. And we demolished it super quick

1 thing about Cryo that my friend discovered is that cave creatures ignore them and the rider. He went through the snow cave on the island without being attacked. Don't know if that's a bug or a intended feature tho.

i don't know if the cryo got nerfed since then but back in the day when it released i was playing with my friend and tamed a bunch of them, breeded them for the best stats and with 17 of them, 2 daeodons and 1 yuty we demolished every single island alpha boss except for the overseer without even losing one cryo (official dino settings, no singleplayer settings but high xp rates so they were all fully leveled)

I got a high leveled Archelom pan and lemme tell you. Put some movement speed, health, and melee damage on that thing and bite a couple jellies and you can absolutely OBLITERATE everything in your path. The big sea turtle is great.

Im gonna be honest, my least favorite(still really cool) are the concavenator and the archelon. At least archelon is like a megatherium but instead an issue with jellyfushes. Concavenator is almost useless in my world since im a lonely solo player they can only suffocate tamed dinos and players and not wild dinos
