I love the communal spirit we have as Africans however I think we should also set boundaries where necessary. Sometimes people do certain things just for show, and it's not genuinely the best.

You have a strong point. It’s important to have the right motive when helping out. Also, setting boundaries is important because you cannot give what you don’t have. We should not also bite the hands that fed us.
