I used to play him regularly at the local New Jersey tournaments when he was about seven years old. He was between about 1600 and 1800 at the time so it was an even match. But it didn't take long before he was competing with -- and beating -- the best players (experts and masters) at the events. And then he stopped coming because it was no longer helpful for him to be playing amateurs. His sister comes to the tournaments now. She's about 1600 but you can tell that she has a lot of talent and will quickly become an expert. I also wouldn't be surprised if she's a master by the time she's eighteen.
