The problem with this is that if either side guesses first all the opponent has to do is guess 1 rank higher or 1 rank lower depending on where there are more ranks available (say Jollz guesses Immortal 2, chat then guesses immortal 1 because there are more ranks below it meaning they have a higher chance of winning.) It wouldn't work all the time but i believe it is a higher accurate percentage and would win more than lose.

I agree. He should write down his guess, then let chat have a go, then compare.

another thing is that both jollz and chat can often times be way off, so it would be better if you didnt get the point (or only got half a point) if the guess wasnt within 2 levels or something (like say if jollz guesses gold 2 then chat guesses gold 3 but the player is actually diamond 1 then they shouldnt get the point, but would get it if the player was only plat 2) it doesnt really matter that much though

This can also be observed when he actually starts guessing before chat, he loses more often. Conditional probability isn't equal joint probability...
