Hi, haven't seen ur channel very long but u sound like Merida is a good place 4 u. Do u have health insurance? Sounds like Merida works 4 u and getting around in a wheel is doable. I have MS live in Calif and would love to move 2 Mexico. Thx 4 ur videos! Very informative.🙂

I have VA insurance, but that doesn't cover me here; everything is out of pocket. But it is affordable. I do get around in a wheelchair, but Mexico isn't like the States; the sidewalks are not all created equal. The main road, Paseo de Montejo has 10 feet wide sidewalks. The others streets have sometimes only 2 feet with a concrete telephone pole right in the middle. I wheel along in the street, and I am able to stand up and walk a block if needed. Just know if you are restricted to a wheelchair, you will have difficulties and obstacles to overcome. Hope that helps. I will make a video of just this subject.
