That house looks to be about 120 square metres,,that should cost around 300k, Kenyan shillings to do that roofing (of course Varriatiations come in with the type of wood used for trusses or wether steel trusses are used, and the gauge of the sheet material used for roofing)

IKR, of course he's being modest but we all know less than 5% of Kenyans can afford to build such a house. This is quite massive, and if it were for sale, would definitely exceed the 10 million mark (More than double if in Nairobi).

Naka is an affluent suburb not far from home area called kiamunyeki so I've seen it develop from plain land to what it is now.

Naka is for the upper middle class in Nakuru I think it comes second after Milimani. Entry point for a 50*100ft plot is about 5mil front row.

Material used for building houses in the US is just some hard paper board which can just be swept away when it heavily rains, in Kenya they mostly use stone and concrete.
