Honestly to me the saddest part of this story is OP saying that she normally doesn't talk about the treatment from her parents cause it's "petty". I used to think the exact same thing when i was still living with my parents, and let me just say you have to be at a really low and broken place in your life to think that telling other people about the abuse you endured is petty
