Some parrots talk with a lot of encouragement some don’t,they demand your constant attention,naughty and destructive and can live for up 90yrs plus,they are a life long commitment.Hundreds of parrots end up in rescue centres every year because their owners can’t cope with them.

I became interested in getting one about 7 years ago. Thank God KZbin videos led me to knowledgeable people who strongly believed in adoption and research. I adopted my girl almost 4 years ago. She's my heart. I wouldn't recommend anyone get a parrot if they work outside of the home or have young kids though. Huge commitment if you decide to bring one home. Very intelligent animals.

I hope you mean Ave Maria by Franz Schubert, because there is no reason to torture any bird with the unnecessarily loud voice of Celine Dion. This bird deserves to hear sweet, angelic voices, not excruciating yelling. Celine Dion is a sweet, musical & very creative person though, but the way she uses/abuses her voice would be a very bad example for a bird. Luckily, there are thousands of alternative videos on KZbin of Schubert's Ave Maria.

The fluffing up and spreading of the feathers means that the bird is trying to show off and impress someone else , that along with their song which consists of talking and sound effects is how they impress a mate or communicate to a friend they're comfortable being around.

'Showing off' does not always mean they are putting the display on for a mate. Many parrots including amazons do this as territorial displays as well.
