The Viper is actually faster than the Ford GT with stock transmission in NFS MW 2005. It can reach 508 km/h but even on drag races using some cheats you can get even higher to its max limit. In NFS Carbon lets you have higher top speed and the fastest one there is the Ford GT.

@@TheBossGaming You have to be with Nicky and have her drag you in a circuit race. That way you can have max speed tuning and get over 500 in some races Tune for Max speed, but you need to have a drag teammate to do this

There was also a glitch on ‘05 Most Wanted with the lotus Elise. if you set the tuning to -3 on everything and held left, brake, and gas at the same time from a stop, then let go of the gas it would shoot the car forward at 600mph. We use to do it to break records on tracks that started with long straight aways.

One thing to note, in NFS Heat, while you used the speed limit remover mod, it's actually possible to reach 330mph ingame if you use UNITE as well. Using the drag kit, the miata 94' gets to 330mph while boosting and stays there for a bit ( until you crash )

Yea I did manage to go 335mph on the pagani huayra bc with a porsche 918 spyder engine swap with drag kit for abit before crashing into a car but some cars can go faster then 335mph but it's limited to that speed it does have potential to go over 350mph

my guess is that it's the motion blur. newer games you certainly move fast, but everything remains pretty clear, while in some of the old ones you can barely see anything from the speed.

The top speed of Mazda RX-7 in Underground 1 is higher with not max transmission. Way over 400 km/h. The fastest car in Underground 2 is Pontiac GTO at 530 km/h. In Most Wanted it's Dodge Viper (508). And in Carbon it's Ford GT (522). Also, in Undercover you can undo the speed limiter, and reach 453 mph!

Technically the Viper in NFS MW 2005 can go even higher on drag races where the rev limiter is removed and with cheats you can get more than 508 km/h. But it is so hard since the stock 6th gear is too tall even with Junkman parts the acceleration is quite slow.

Carbon has pretty much infinite top speed if you can draft properly with your teammate. There's a specific race with a long straight section where you can already arrive at a high peed then draft. My all time top speed is something like 1170 km/h but the game could barely handle that and it lasted like a second before I crashed. But I could consistently do over 600 km/h no wonder they phased out the teammate mechanic in later games.

I use that to cheese some races in Own The City especially in the final act where you take on EX's crew who has no qualms screwing you over with rubberbanding.

From what i know it's an issue with the frostbite engine they're developing the game on. It's not a fan of high speeds hence why cars are limited, but i also wouldnt be surprised if limiting the cars is a way to make the hypercars the goal to buy

@@mendyshelios0451 Frostbite is a limiting engine for NFS imo, but they'll probably stick to it given it would take many years to build a new NFS on a new engine or develop a new engine made for NFS which i doubt EA would greenlight since it probably would cost alot of money. I think that UE5 might've been a good engine though, it would help save time on making the map itself and help hugely with the characters and hopefully make a bigger story with more cutscenes

The fact that NFS' post-Payback has a speed nerf, which im assuming is limitations with the cities to 245 mph really kills the speed factor in NFS as a whole where in older NFS' you can go as fast as you want.... Edit:(this also applies to NFS 2015 as well)Undercover as far as i'm aware you can go beyond the speeds by a reverse speed glitch

In NFS 5 you can actually reach over 380 kph with 911 GT1 if you tune the transmission correctly. Also Zone Industrielle is way better for top speed testing. I have to know this since i'm the official WR Holder for Zone Industrielle

alot of nfs games requires you to go the absolute limite due to rubberbanding but still the top speeds arn't glitched and sometimes it seems even the game cant follow the speed youre going which result in either visual glithes or etc. this amazes me at every nfs title i play, recently played payback and still sometimes it seems almost impossible to go faster and you're still not fast enough,

I think the sweet spot for NFS graphics was NFS4 to NFS Carbon. I know that the latest games are ‘better looking,’ but the lighting, cameras, and overall presentation of the sweet spot games appeal to me more. My favorite is Porsche Unleashed. I just wish there had been more Unleashed games.

This might be a stretch but Unbound need to uncap the top speed for a lot of cars especially in S+. Bunch of superbuilds and suoercars have a strong potential to be competitive but most can compete in short tracks. Strongly overshadowed by Regera X Evija Kings with 395km/h top speed

In NFS Underground 2 You could have picked the Mitsubishi 3KGT with 451 km/h which is possible for it to reach in the entire airport road, Pontiac GTO makes 539 km/h but it will never reach that far. As a top speed u could have gotten the Mitsubishi 3KGT its also the 2nd fastest car

ur wrong 4:35 infiniti g35 is not the fastest, pontiac gto is fastest with also turbo and its faster than bugatti chiron, (in nfs underground 2 pontiac gto goes with 520 speed) , and also in nfs carbon, the fastest car is ford gt, it goes with 500 speed too...
