Kayli I have a question. My scalp sweats in summer specially when I play a sport or workout but if I wash my hair often it gets really but if I don't im scared that it'll clog my scalp pores and when my scalp is sweaty I read that you shouldn't leave it to dry because it clogs the pores but should I oil it while its sweaty or should I rinse with water then dry and then oil?

Don't do everything she says. Depends on diet, age, medication. Hair type. Massage scalp while washing. 3in 1 shampoo, condition, body wash. Take vitamin e tablet daily. Don't brush wet hair. After drying. Finger brush bottom to top. No drugs, smoking. Brush daily especially before bed time. Try different shampoos to fit your type of hair..don't spend $$$$$ on beauty shop products. Utube is the best..

this girl SAVED my hair in other ways my mental health lol I never cared much for my hair and just used shampoo and conditioner and never styled it. but during a 3 month lockdown in my area I got into hair care tiktoks and eventually found her channel. I slowly started adding in new products step by step until I almost covered her entire routine completely (with cheaper products). and let me tell you my hair has never looked better!!!! yes, it's expensive and time consuming, but you never wanna go back after you realize what you can get out of your natural hair. putting this much energy and time and money into myself really changed how I present myself and my sense of self worth. it's almost become a therapeutic hobby for me.

I’ve started doing my own nails w your videos and am really struggling to find a balance between “roughing them up” to keep the artificial nails on and not completely filing them down to nothing both when applying the extensions and removing them. I don’t see how I can sustain doing this in the way that I’m usually doing it, so I would love to know what products and techniques you use to keep your natural nails healthy. I know I’ve seen you mention it here and there in different nail videos, but I would love a dedicated video that I could just bookmark and go back to over and over ❤ love your content! Thank you!

I wanted to comment that although lot of people believe that air drying is always the healthiest option for your hair, this is not always the case. For anyone who suffers from seborrheic dermatitis on their scalp (flaky dandruff, itchiness, irritation) malassezia yeast is a contributing factor. This is why most anti-dandruff treatments (from Head & Shoulders to Nizoral A-D or prescription Ketoconazole) contain anti-fungal agents. Yeast lives on all of our skin, but when the balance of yeast is thrown off it can cause a lot of (sometimes painful) irritation, itching, inflammation, even hair loss. What does this have to do with blow drying? Moisture. Yeast needs moisture to thrive and reproduce. Especially if you have higher hair density, or your roots take a long time to dry, you have letting moisture sit on your scalp which creates a yeast-friendly environment. If you prefer air drying, consider hitting your roots with a blow dryer with a diffuser attachment on a low heat setting to get some of the moisture away from your scalp and never go to bed w/ wet or damp hair. Curly girls, avoid sleeping with your hair in a plop.

9:25 Girl. This is BLATANTLY untrue. My hair was at my mid shoulders and would NOT grow no matter what I tried for the majority of my life. Rice water, especially fermented, has been scientifically proven to grow hair. I used it for about a month and my hair growth was RAPID and lasted for a good two months with an occasional rice treatment. As of now, I’ve been slacking for a year with no hair growth, but during the growth period, my hair grew down to the top of my butt. I’m literally making more rice water as we speak. Don’t crush people’s dreams of fixing and growing out their hair and stimulating growth because it didn’t work for you.

As a person with a naturally dry and sensitive scalp I find (and have been told by my cosmetologist sister) that leaving an oil in overnight can be and is beneficial and won't damage the hair. This is only if you have a dry scalp though. You should avoid leaving it in for extended periods of time if you have an oily scalp. This is also my personal experience. Personally if I leave anything other than an oil in my hair it will irritate it and I will scratch sores on my head. The oil helps that not happen.
