I appreciate this video so much man. Hard to come by much information on SaMe. I enjoyed watching your video all the way through. I started taking it a week ago as someone whose never really taken a supplement like this but have needed one for a long time, for feelings of anxiety, depression, low energy levels etc. I have only had a good experience thus far, boost in energy, productivity as well as not feeling as overly sensitive or influenced by sensory stimuli which seems to be helpful. It seems to be the boost I needed thus far. Great resourceful informative video man, well done. Dropped a sub, keep it up.

I use to have really bad anxiety where I had restless legs and could not stay seated on an airline, which is so dangerous. I follow Dr. Eric Berg and he mentioned that vitamin B1 got rid of his restless legs. I tried it and the effect was really amazing. I now take Benfotiamine daily.

Thanks for this. Heard about SAMe, ages ago, forgot about it. Am Not wanting to take antidepressants for too many reasons. Have struggled with depression since a late teen. Am 65 , active, working, otherwise super healthy! Looking for natural supplements, have tried mushrooms, Medicinal and Psychedelics.They help for sure. Medicinal are gross to take every day ( powder form) Psychedelics micro dose kind of helpful, Heroic doses help for awhile... Recently discovered Niacin is hugely beneficial. Took 500 mg 1st try. Waay too much, flushed huge, BUT I had a great elevated mood day. Cut in half, works great. Also recently started taking Ashwaganda 2x a day. Tincture. Am feeling better. Will check out SAMe. Thankyou again!

You're welcome! It sounds like you've been exploring some great natural options for mental health support. SAMe can be a helpful addition for mood and overall mental well-being, so it's worth giving it a try. Just start with a low dose to see how your body responds. Niacin, Ashwagandha, and even medicinal mushrooms can definitely play a role too-it's all about finding the right balance for you. Psychedelics, especially in microdoses or guided settings, can offer benefits, but keep in mind they aren't a fit for everyone and often work best alongside other supportive practices. Glad to hear you're feeling better-keep listening to your body and prioritizing your mental health! You've got this! #TAR

hey man! I'm glad that i found this channel...currently trying to take SAMe as the european version called GEPTRAL (which is actually supposed to be a liver supplement) BUT IT WORKS right away...it gives me great feeling of calm and kinda happiness....I started enjoying little things and feeling great in general (even with my low BMI I see how my weight starts gaining even if i eat the same amounts)....BUT BUT BUT SAMe gives me stomach aches....and it kills me....cause I want to take it. Anything you can suggest maybe? should i try different forms maybe? or it wont matter since its the same medication? maybe some alternative?
@TheAnxiousResistance26 күн бұрын
Hey! So glad you found the channel and that SAMe (GEPTRAL) is helping with your mood and energy-it’s great to hear about those positive changes! Stomach aches can be a common issue with SAMe, but there are a few things you could try. First, consider taking it with food to see if it’s gentler on your stomach. Some people also find that lower doses cause fewer side effects, so you could start with a smaller amount and slowly increase it as tolerated (speak to your doctor about this). There are also enteric-coated versions of SAMe designed to dissolve in the intestine instead of the stomach, which might reduce irritation. Lastly, alternatives like methylfolate, NAC, or a high-quality B-complex could be worth exploring, as they support similar pathways in the body. Be sure to talk to your healthcare provider before switching things up. Hope this helps, and take care of yourself! #TAR

Thank you for your review. I have recently been learning about neurotransmitters. I read a very eye opening book on how our food directly affects our brain. The Craving Cure & The Mood Cure by Julia Ross. She has 300 research articles & books linked in the Craving Cure alone. She explains how our food system was altered in the 1970's resulting in obesity, diseases, and moods. Our proteins that come from animals fed corn/grains are cancelling out some of the amino acids we need for building blocks to our health. I highly recommend them.

I first took sam-e 15 years ago to help with some dark times. It definitely helped take that constant edge off and calmed my racing thoughts enough to evaluate my situation and to pinpoint activators or "triggers". I was diagnosed with depression and I was scared of the side effects which is why I tried sam-e. Long story short, I found my main cause and broke up with her. Within a month, I felt a huge improvement. I think that many of our issues have a mental/emotional root cause but we choose to ignore it or simply do not realize it.
