These lore powerpoints you do are legitimately the highlight of this playthrough for me. So few people pay attention to the environment and dialogue this closely, which is always painful to watch because the game *demands* that level of attention to understand what's going on. Something that is also a shame because the lore is like...actually top tier.

Assuming that Rain world even has 'space'... in one of the pearl readings (spoiler), Moon talks about the ground "colliding" into the sky, so perhaps there are crystal spheres and epicycles or something like that; perhaps it's like a Minecraft world and goes on for pretty much ever (though the latter I doubt because of the term "Global Ascention"

Unfortunately the best way to find lore is via pearls, and... it's very tough as youve seen hahaha. It took me 15ish hours postgame to collect all pearls as artificer As for what FP really is, think of when the game tells you the name "five pebbles" and "looks to the moon" first. He isnt just the puppet for sure.

The echo you met after finishing the game has different dialogue for if you haven't finished it yet, or if you somehow get in there as another scug (though you can't do that glitchless & modless).

"Scavenger Toll" and "Scavenger Merchangt" appear at your first encounter with their respective thing during that playthrough of Survivor/Monk; If you had gone all the way to the LF (Farm Arrays) toll or SB (Subterranean) merchant before meeting any of the others, the text would have popped up there. I think that even if you used glitches to sneak into Metropolis, you would have gotten the poppup.

Considering it's named *holy* ash, I'd assume it's used for a religious reason.

The scav symbol does not mean "toll" in any language. It means something like friendship/companionship or maybe attachment or even materialism; and the scavengers as a group have seemingly collectively decided that that symbol exemplifies their values and use it to mark their territory.
