Had so many problems with mine too, including the timing chain, they're a nightmare to keep on the road but so much fun when they're working

Not a major issue at all, easily sorted 👍 i recently brought an "ultraguage" for my 207gti which i would definitely reccomend you get, i got mine for about £75. It plugs into the obd port and gives you so much information about the engine so you can keep and eye on everything, i would really reccomend one 👍

Imma gonna knock on wood, I've got my 207 SW RC (GTI in some contries) since a month I have zero problem even though I drive it sportly ! Hope it'll continue 😊😊

How much km do you have already most of the problems comes around 100-120K

@@friendlybucket7268 180k, engine got repaired (mostly timing chain) at 140k, turbo got maintenance at 175k and other stuff I don't recall

I recomend you having a VTEC at least once in your life. Tons of fun and super reliability.

I totally agree to @Sionjones1257 These stronger THP engines are such fun to drive, the cars are also agile as hell. especially the smaller 207 rc/gti ? Here in WestEU its called RC instead of GTi what makes me wonder. We should build a group of ppl driving and loving sports peugeot cars. if someone is interested ^^ We can hold meetings once a year or whatever and share personal stuff like riding on roads etc. I like your 207 content love the car, the flutter sound is in for my taste a little bit to much but thats a personal opinion so dont take it serious. maybe im to old? but dont get me wrong, it actually sounds good :) Maybe your repair Odyssey is starting right now? LETS HOPE NOT! But take care of driving it properly, do not pull it when its not driving at least 10-15 minutes (driving warm/cold) change oil and use good oil, use the peugeot recommended coolant if possible. For heat problems maybe use isolation stuff like THERMO ISO TAPE you know what i mean. Maybe a Turbo blanket aswell? i am always getting nervous when i drive the car properly and the engine is so freaking hot! Looking forward for more peugeot stuff!
