I have the same kit I’m building for my son. I’m using lock tight gel glue. It’s working but what’s the glue you have? It sets fast?

CA glue or AKA Super Glue. I like the thin and medium thin stuff for kits.

Bleach and isopropyl (91%) cleaned mine right off

Wow, the tooling's held up pretty well then, I wouldn't have thought it was that old.
