Hi Benjamin - IcePlate EXO (ICE) lets you run our IMS Pro (now equipped with One-Way Valves) on the inside (conductive cooling, heating, hydration) or the outside (hydration only) of the carrier, depending on what you need for your mission/application. Details with gallery pics and videos in long scroll: www.qoreperformance.com/collections/iceplate-exo/products/iceplate-exo Hope that helps, but happy to answer any other questions you might have. #StayFrosty

As a civilian, I'm always wondering how necessary it is to have bungee retention on mags. A number of guys who served run bungee retention on their mags, and I feel like that's probably necessary if you're in a adrenaline riddled, life or death situation. How vital is this to you? Do you lose mags from your placard easier than most might think in a gun fight?
@KineticConsulting3 жыл бұрын
Doesn't matter really. It comes down to you and practicing.
@don86593 жыл бұрын
I don't run bungee retention (if you don't count the HSGI taco pouches as bungee retention) Only time I ever seen the need for bungee retention in the army was for airborne operations. If you stay on the ground it's not necessary IMO.
@mako25343 жыл бұрын
I ran bungees occasionally but it isn't necessary 99% of the time. Just make sure the retention is decent. Only pouches I've ever had serious retention problems with is blue force gear.

@@KineticConsulting Any experience with ShotStop plates? I've seen some sketch ballistic results/deformation w/ Hesco in various tests online (same with DFNDR, mostly insane deformation). ShotStop seems to be pretty impressive, especially with the GBRS Group test they did not too long ago: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eoeaqHyYgp6AhpY John from WPS did a test on them too I believe and they did really well. Do you run DFNDR/Hesco b/c you know people that have been shot wearing them and they worked well or is it just b/c everyone on KZbin seems to run them? The tests I've seen online aren't impressive. ShotStop seems superior. You have actual combat experience, so....Thoughts?
