I've been dealing with this for 35 years. Mine is debilitating. If I don't manage it, I can't work, I can't stay married, I can't parent my kids. So I have to do all.things. I eat healthy, whole foods most of the time. I minimize or avoid dairy, gluten and sugar. I exercise 5-6 times a week. I pray, meditate, read my Bible. I take an SSRI AND birth control pill. But those did nothing for me until I made the healthy life changes. I take natural supplements. I drink a lot of water, almost no sodas. I try to go bed on time. If I do ALL that I'm good. But you know I can't always keep it up. And I often start stress eating and then I'm down bad. Like today. Only one day left before my period. Thank God.

Wow, I’m so sorry but also so glad you’ve found some ways to manage this long term I have also found that dairy, gluten and sugar are triggers. I’ve been fasting and seeing a huge difference in symptoms Praying you continue to manage this well🙏

I share this experience with you. I have been seeking naturopathic support, somatic therapy, the list goes on.. I know you know. I still feel like giving up some days but im happy I don't. Healing my past traumas has helped a lot as does EMDR therapy. Spending a lot of time in nature and a lot of time doing practices to regulate myself outside of pmdd has been a game changer, so that way when it hits I have these habits established. Psilocybin has helped a lot as well, it's allowed me to see new parts of myself, recognize harmful patters, and create new thought patterns. Above all else your personal medicine will heal you.. find what keeps you on earth. Much love.

PMDD is hell on earth. This month I couldn't get out of bed, or sleep, or study, or working. I take an SSRI and this month it did nothing! On January I tried to commit su!cide. I'm so done with this. I can't be myself during that time of the month...

Keep advocating for yourself! It takes time to find the right regimen.. a different ssri, supplements, birth control, talk therapy, exercise… find the combination that works for you, it’s different for everyone! And it takes time for meds to kick in, 3-4 months. Don’t give up, I know it sucks now but it does get better. Keep on going lady xx 💕

36yrs old diagnosed at 16. Not knowing what pmdd was and being a young woman my entire life has been literal hell. Not communicating the diagnosis with a therapist got me every label you can possibly think of being diagnosed with in the mental health field. And treated with medication For these missed diagnosis. I've always explained it as extreme PMS but it's so much more than that. This disorder Could destroy your life or take it Completely.. in my case it it's gotten worse over the years but I am since just last year, taking the pmdd into account. Personally I'm extremely sensitive to Anti-depressants and birth control honestly anything I put into my body.So I'm trying to go as natural as possible with treating this. I won't give my whole life story. But I can relate to this disorder and know exactly how it feels to go through it. My cptsd was always my first concern...time to start syncing my cycle and continuing to workout and eating healthy GOOD foods for my personal needs. Really love myself through this all. I hope you all do the same. Ty for recommending the supplements. Might try those soon

Only thing that has worked for me is edibles. I’m normally not a drug user but I was desperate. Anti depressants killed my sex drive in only 2 weeks. That just wasn’t an option. So i take edibles everyday of the PMDD the minute I get off work.

I can’t believe I came across this video. I clicked on your profile after seeing an old flight attendant video. I was recently diagnosed with this after having to do my own research as well. The last about 3-4 years of my life has been upside down because no one could identify specifically what the issue was. If you think you have this, try keeping a log of how you feel everyday. For me, I did a keyword search on my text messages including text I sent that named “anxious” “crying” “depressed” “sad” etc. and it came to my attention I sent messages like these at the same time of every month even crazier, on some of the same days, all being around my cycle. My treatment is currently birth control, so far so good for the first month 🎉 I really hope this video reaches the right audience! Thank you for sharing ❤

Well done for talking about it. It sounds horrendous. Tracking our symptoms is one of the best things we can do as women, as our bodies go through so much and we often aren't able to put a name to these symptoms and/or recognise patterns until we start tracking... I'm about to start tracking my endometriosis symtpoms for this very reason.

Thank you so much! I’ve been battling PMDD for a while and it’s hard to explain what I go through. I struggle with opening up about it as some people either can’t understand how it works, or end up thinking it’s similar to PMS. Thank you for making this video and recommending the supplement. I’ve been doing self care (meditation, listening to affirmations, journaling etc) to help take the edge off my symptoms but I would like to combine my self care routine with a supplement. ❤️ will be trying out for sure!

The worst part is actually figuring out that one has PMDD, its until youve pieced all them pieces together, it took me almost a year to figure out that i didn't have depression, but indeed PMDD, I've started taking 10 vitamin D3 1000 a day and Calcium D-Glucarate, it has changed my life, i do have off days, but im not hopeless anymore......

Thank you for this video, Renee! I’ve been struggling with PMDD since 2017 or earlier. It’s slightly better now but still nothing short of hell. I’ve been researching, trying to see what pill I should get on, but it’d be amazing if Ayurvedic supplements like this one can help me instead. Better than putting in sufficiently tested chemicals into my system. This is super hopeful. Thank you! ❤

For a while I thought I was burnt out. Then it got so much worse and I thought I was expecting early perimenopause at age 40. Then I finally tracked my mood and realized that it was PMDD. I've tried all of the possible over the counter meds and herbs I could find. None of them really did anything. Im on an antidepressant, which helps with the rest of the month but literally does nothing for the PMDD. I'm close to 4 weeks on birth control. So far Im still experiencing PMDD symptoms. They aren't as bad, but hopefully it will go away. I have a three month supply, so we'll see. I will definitely try that supplement you mentioned. I will try any options out there including having a hysterectomy, because it is bad enough that I would choose possibly shortening my life over PMDD, which I so lovingly refer to as "my b@*$h."

I was diagnosed with PMDD when I was 18 and started birth control. It made me feel like a crazy lady so I stopped. My current symptoms are not as damaging as the ones in my teenage years. But I am battling anxiety and I've become paranoid about 1 week before my period in my 20s. I have tried magnesium and fish oil. I don't have access to the supplement mentioned in the video in my home country. Any supplement recommendation that can help my PMDD? I'd really appreciate it girls. thanks
