Those are some cool teams! It's nice to see someone who appreciates my boy Raichu. I can't remember exactly which mons I used for all of my Sapphire and LeafGreen play-throughs, only that I always chose Torchic in Sapphire and Bulbasaur in LeafGreen. Also, I almost always had a Swallow on my team in Sapphire, and Pidgeot and either Lapras or Vaporeon in LeafGreen. But since I just played the Gen 7 games last year, I remember my teams fondly. In Sun I had Athena the Decidueye, Norman the Braviary, Pancake the Alolan Raichu, Papyrus the Alolan Marowak, Slick the Alolan Muk, and Slowsis the Slowbro. And in Ultra Moon, I had Tigris the Incineroar, Guinness the Toucannon, X-Wing the Vikavolt, Tuna Sub the Wishiwashi, Strawberry the Bewear, and Sanae the Tsareena (who I actually bred to use on the team).

Thanks! When I was younger, I never bothered nicknaming my Pokemon, but after seeing my favorite PokeTubers do it in all of their play-throughs, I figured it would make the game more fun and personal.

I've always loved nicknaming. But I was also the type of person who in junior high would name inanimate objects like my backpack or something >.> I still name creature toys and figurines tho lol. Anyway, the only name I remember is my Tropius called Justin (which ended up being my fiance's name, funny enough).

Here are my favorite teams from gens 4-7 (one per gen) oh and these are from playthroughs Platinum: Infernape, Luxray, Roserade, Giratina, Garchomp, Gastrodon gen5 (I actually played the games so many times, I don't remember most of my actual teams so I'll list off my personal favorites): Emboar, Lilligant, Thundurus, Swanna, Zoroark, Stoutland, Vaporeon, Lucario, Flygon, Unfezant (shiny), Seismitoad, Golurk, Cobalion Y: Delphox, Lapras, Yveltal, Lucario, Abomasnow, Blastoise UltraSun: Incineroar, Araquanid, Raikou, Necrozma, Lurantis, Dusk Lycanroc also, props to you for using Emolga in a Unova team. Even I hardly use one in a Unova playthrough. And of course you have Zoroark, no surprise there :)

By the way, in USUM, they made it so you can evolve Charjabug earlier. You can evolve it in Blush Mountain on Ula'ula Island instead of having to wait until Vast Poni Canyon. It makes it a lot better.

I like a lot of your choices, great video! These are the Pokémon I'd use in my teams: Kanto: Blastoise, Parasect, Flareon, Sandslash, Wigglytuff and Aerodactyl. Johto: Feraligatr, Ampharos, Umbreon, Espeon, Heracross and Tyranitar. Hoenn: Swampert, Breloom, Gardevoir, Banette, Flygon and Salamence. Sinnoh: Torterra, Staraptor, Luxray, Lopunny, Skuntank and Giratina. Unova: Samurott, Krookodile, Scrafty, Chandelure, Hydreigon and Volcarona. Kalos: Delphox, Talonflame, Florges, Doublade, Goodra and Gourgeist. Alola: Incineroar, Alolan Persian, Lurantis, Mimikyu, Salazzle and Alolan Sandslash. To explain a few choices: I think Hoenn has some of the best Dragon types, and while I prefer Flygon to Salamence I really want both on my team as both of them are unique enough to stand apart from each other despite similar typings and both of them are just.. Awesome. Had to use one legendary in Sinnoh as Giratina has two of my favourite typings, my favourite design of any Pokemon and in my opinion is just badass, I seriously couldn't play through Sinnoh without using it. Unova is my favourite region, and Dark is one of my favourite typings, so I couldn't help but add a bunch of Dark types to my Unova team. Similarly to Unova, Kalos introduces some amazing Fire types (Shoutout to Pyroar, I'd have it on my team aswell if it wasn't for the fact that that would give me 3 Fire types..) so I had to include at least two on my team. While I like both Doublade and Aegislash, I've always prefered using Doublade and honestly I just like Doublade more, so I would give it an Eviolite and keep it unevolved. These are my teams!

Little tidbit: Vikavolt can be obtained earlier in the Ultra games, you can obtain it at Blush Mountain if you level it up there, so you can get Vikavolt significantly earlier.

I like to keep type overlap down to a minimum. Plus while I do like the Chikorita line the most out of all the Johto starters, Cyndaquil is pretty nice and my 2nd choice when I want to change it up.
