Some of the protagonist's appear in comparison by height and weight (or mass in non-US copies) using the Size function of the Pokedex. I remember it most clearly in Gen 4 but it appears in a couple generations.

Nidoran female is explained in a Japanese Pokemon Pokedex guide to be the only one of the species to be able to breed, so it's actually acknowledged, which is neat. This was before Gold and Silver came out too, I think. In it, it says it lays twin eggs... one male, one female! Also, I wonder if the Nidorans are blue and purple because those are royal colors?

The question then is, if Nidorina and Nidoqueen were always intended to be infertile, why does so much of the other media show them having babies or mention how maternal they are?

@@OtakuUnitedStudio I'm fairly certain that it's because Nidoran female live in a colony of other Nidorina and Nidoqueen. The Nidoran birth their young, and the Nidorina and Nidoqueen help protect and raise them. Some animal species have communities that they raise young in. (It's worth noting that Pokemon don't evolve as a sign of age; they grow from getting stronger. It makes sense that a Nidoran who fights often might evolve to lose its reproductive abilities, since it doesn't have need for it.)

I think the reason why the Nidoran families have pink males and blue females is cause in the past pink was considered masculine while blue was feminine. Pink was seen as a light red and red is seen as hot which was a trait for men and blue was seen as cool which was a trait for women. Also to support this in the manga Red is a male and Blue is a female, the "Gary" to Red being "Ash" is named Green.

Interesting fact about Pikachu: in Pokemon Yellow you can make it dance. No, I'm not joking. Jump over a ledge but leave Pikachu on top of it, wait a few seconds and it starts dancing. xD This is a little Easter Egg that my brother and I discovered completely by accident and as far as I know, it's not a very well known Easter Egg either. :3

Beedrill is a physical attacker, and since every mega besides Alakazam has a BST boost of 100, lowering its special attack gives it even more room for buffs to other stats than usual. So lowering special attack does anything but defeat purpose of mega evolution

Parasect's weaknesses in generation 1 were; Quad-weaknesses: Fire, Flying, Poison. Normal weaknesses: Rock, Bug, Ice. Nidoqueen, Nidoking, and Rhydon are known as the Drill Pokémon.

During the Paras/parasect fact, you said they had 3 x4 weaknesses being fire, poison and ice in gen one, when it was actually fire, poison, and FLYING. As of gen 2 onwards, they only are x4 weak to fire and flying types, being x2 weak to rock, ice, and other bug types. So a Parasect vs Parasect battle would come down to which Parasect is faster.

I know this may sound weird but I have been having lots of theories swirling up in my head about pokemon lately. The strangest one being that ''What if Ash is actually a pokemon himself?'' I mean look at it, whenever he gets hit by a pokemon move that clearly should have killed him and yet he survives, he is always the chosen one by some pokemon (I know it's cause he is MC) but just what if he really was a pokemon? The second one being ''Is Pikachu originally from Alola? Did he come from the Pikachu valley? '' this one makes more sense to me because we already know OG Gramps has a relative living in Alola, and he could've gotten Pikachu there from his cousin bringing him over to Kanto. Think about the second one I am sure you will come to understand what I am trying to say by that. Ash's Pikachu is a rather special one, Tapu Koko is always drawn to it, can it be that it recognized that Pikachu is originally from Alola?

Nidorino was not the first Pokemon to appear in the anime, Charizard was. If you're talking about the American version of the anime specifically then yes, Nidorino was first. But Charizard came first in the Japanese anime which released before the American version.
