I have 4 polene bags, two #one, and two #one mini. I like the fact that the handle is stiff. I love a good structured bag. I like strathberry bags also.

I have the Polene bag in burgundy and the handle is stiff indeed. That being said, I only use it crossbody (which is what its mostly made for I think since the strap is not detachable) and in that way it is definitely the most functional bag that I own! Very comfortable, easy to access everything, gorgeous leather that is also very resistant...I definitely use it a ton!

Did you have any issues with the bag's weight? I do plan to carry it with the strap but a bit worried that it might hurt after I've stuffed the bag and carried it for a while.

Charli Gregory no issues with weight! The bag is not particularly light as Amie mentions but since it is a very reasonable size it’s very comfortable crossbody. I often carry books etc with me and have never been bothered.

I have the same Polene bag in the tan trio. The top handle is definitely stiff, but I love the bag so much that I wrapped an LV bandeau around the handle, and it's perfect. Plus, I mainly use the shoulder strap so it isn't a big issue for me.

Just purchased a Polène in hunter green in Paris, this bag is definitely supposed to be used with the strap. It looks more aesthetically pleasing that way. The bag is really well made. I personally feel the bag is very light in weight.

Just wanted to comment and say, the handle on my Polene was somewhat stiff as well but with regular use it’s softened up quite a bit :) the leather overall is a lot more buttery now. I’ve been wearing it consistently for about a month-I know I should rotate but I’m glad I didn’t since it made it so soft haha. Otherwise there’s no wear and tear as of yet even wearing it so regularly. Hoping to eventually get the big version and also the Gucci 😍😍 I love that WOC, it looks perfect

I have this exact bag and I love it, at first it is very stiff but then it adjusts to you I love it so much that I want the beige one, I have not stopped wearing it! I like to switch up my bags so I decided to put it away for a bit.

I bought the Polene No. Uno in beige on beige. I agree that it is a little heavy, but that wasn’t a surprise to me because it’s leather. I love the stiff handle because I use that handle the most. I also love that the shoulder strap is so adjustable and so long that I can use it as Crossbody. I love my bag. It’s beautiful and very user friendly. The only thing I would change about it is the outside pocket. I wish it was larger so my phone would fit. It is very well made. I sometimes wish I had gotten a smaller version because it is a BIG bag, but I like to use it every day for work and I don’t know that everything would fit in a smaller bag. Maybe I will get a second bag and a smaller version

I actually tried that style on when I visited their store but I didn't love it. I found the proportions a little strange and the bag just felt like it could have been a little smaller. Not sure if this is just me though because again, so many people seem to love it!

I have the Polene Numero Uno bag in Grey and I would definitely agree with the stiff handle. The handle is also quite tight when worn on the crook of your arm - it could have had a slightly longer drop. Overall the bag is very structured and is on the heavy side. I like it because it dresses up any outfit, if fits everything plus more and it's not that common. I do think this bag isn't for everyone though. I've done an unboxing video of it but hoping to do a more thorough review of it soon. Unlike a lot of Instagram people who have been given this bag, I am not affiliated with the company, and like you, will always tell people the truth - good and bad! I'm glad you returned it if it didn't feel right for you.

I own the Polene Numero Un bag (burgundy leather with suede flap). Amie is correct, the handle is quite stiff and hard, but I put some Apple Brand leather conditioner on it, and it has started loosening up a bit. What I find annoying is that the snaps that keep the overall shape of the bag keep popping open, even though it's not full at all (small wallet, house keys, lipgloss). So I keep checking and finding that I have to snap them closed. And unfortunately, because the leather is quite stiff and because I don't want to scratch the front of the bag, I have to snap them closed from the inside.

Mel For info I look at most of the review on YT, went to the shop monday. The bag are even nicer in reality. However yes the handle is stiff but I think with time it would get loser. Also it won’t get totally lose as is what help the bag to keep this shape. If you decided to go for the suede version beware of colour transfer. The bag is not heavy for me. Hope it help.

I have the Polene bag in the camel color and love it. My top handle is stiff as well, but I have absolutely no issues with that. I love top handles, so having one that is stiff doesn’t bother me at all. And I’ve never noticed that it’s heavy at all. Perhaps the croc-effect one is heavier than others?

THESE ARE LIKE SLIPPERS!! The higher heel version (single ankle strap - you know the ones I mean) are comfy, but these... I have walked round the WHOLE of London shopping (around 8hrs) with these without a blister in sight. I would however recommend you have some beige soles put on these as you will catch the point at the front, and the soles will last better if you are planning on doing marathons in these, but aside from that, these are fab! I have the whole collection now all in poudre and even have the bag haha. x

I have the Polene in monochrome gris - I hadn’t noticed the stiffness of the handle but I checked after your video and do agree it’s stiffer than most. I haven’t found it to be an issue though because of the flat underside, even when I’m carrying a lot in my bag!
