@@mickthemachinehill ..About the only time I can get that kind of draw/screw back is when I hit my break shot too low on the cue ball.😄

To frank with you Sir Mick, this is kinder interesting cause I take some time to losen up and getting my muscle loose. I truly thank You though cause I thought this is not that important but I now I see I was wrong for being mythical about you got to adjust without any of this drills before the Match. I am impressed & brief how you put everything in clarity for Us out here. I am truly impressed & thanks my S.African Coach, Master Cyril Rogers for truly suggesting me to watch this video. Very informative & effective by granting Us clarity about checking the table before any game. Thanks Sir Mick...

Thank you as always Mick, never really had an actual before match drill. Just usually have a few frames. But this makes more sense and another thing I will add to my game. Thank you

New rubber is softer, as it ages its hardens. This means on new rubber the ball presses deeper into the rubber and it tends to narrow up the rebound line, and any spin will also exagerate.

Also what did you prefer the old EPA rule set or the new EPA rule set I love the new EPA rule set as its more for the attacking players and makes more open games

Great vid as always Mick can you do a pre shot routine vid, I find I miss 90% of the shots I miss because, I don’t get up to look at the shot, I just shuffle because cue ball hasn’t moved much and similar line. Everyone goes through a sort of routine of looking at next shot then standing and walking into the shot. I’m sure a lot more goes through your mind in this few seconds cheers 🎱🎱

Great video - would love to see more pattern play videos, one thing i always wonder is despite the layout being different each time, are there certain scenarios that commonly appear and have an actual ‘method’ of dealing with them? For example, using a ball over the middle pocket to connect to a rail ball etc

The deep screw shot at the 7 minute mark, is that played at 6 o'clock or closer to 7 oclock? Love the arc on the white as it grips the cloth.

Really really love these videos. I'm a late comer to pool but can play at a decent level as I started out in snooker. But I learn so much from these videos. And that table is awesome, so quiet

As mostly a snooker player, could someone tell me when these tables switched to a nappless cloths. What weight of cues do english pool players use, 17oz ??
@JohnOConnor65
@JohnOConnor65 7 ай бұрын
I think the napless (worsted) cloth has been popular since the 90's or maybe earlier. Average english pool cues are around 19oz.
