Today we're basically doing a food diary where I show you everything I'm eating at 36 weeks pregnant! I do not claim to be the "ultimate example" or anything like that with prenatal nutrition, but am just doing the best that I can with my current circumstances and I hope somehow it encourages you in your journey too! RECIPES:
Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls:
1/4 cup warm milk
1 tsp yeast
1 tsp honey
Mix and let stand for 10 mins, then add:
1 cup sourdough starter
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 eggs
3-4 cups flour
Mix well, and let rise until double (about 1 hour).
Roll into a large rectangle, and spread the filling.
Filling:
5 T softened butter
1 T cinnamon
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Roll into a log, cut, and place in 9x13 pan. Let rise again until puffy (about 30 mins). Bake at 350 for 20 mins.
Frosting:
1 cup icing sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 T milk
(frost once slightly cooled)
