I think no one has as many Prince things as this man in the video. I've been a fan of it since 1984 and well I have 36 CDs, three books, the movie "Purple Rain" and six DVDs, I also have all the music videos. I thought that I was one of the fans who had the most of Prince but when I see this video it is very clear to me that I am not. What seems exaggerated to me is to have everything on CD and LP and also repeated things like special editions etc.

This image brings back memories of my old record collection, which was nothing compared to my father's record collection. My collection was mostly Prince and KISS albums and ones my father bought me when I was a kid. My collection got thrown away by an uncle helping my mother move years 20 years ago. Yes I still get pissed when I think about that!!!

Always nice to see, well done! My version would be a lot shorter. About 10 seconds to show my USB with Prince live (11,7 GB) and 10 more seconds to show my USB with albums and all the extra's (rehearsals, maxi's etc), another 29,8 GB. And then a few seconds to take a peek in my own vault where off course I have some copies of it all. I sold my collection years ago because I don't use it, I don't really feel the value of the original stuff. But I NEED the music, all day, all night 🤣

Amazing collection, similar to me, a mix of CDs and records. I also brought records for most of the later albums and brought earlies from second hand shops, despite the fact my record player is a toy I hardly ever use.

The NPG albums like Slaughterhouse were officially released on streaming platforms like Amazon in High Definition and they sound great. I don’t think they were officially released on CD unless you were part of the fan club back in the day.

Thanks for watching Brenda. This is just full length albums so the singles box set and "America" aren't part of it. Those can be seen in other videos I posted. I also haven't done anything with associated artists like The Family since I don't really collect them, although I do have some. Do you have a video of your collection? I started posting videos because of the other collector's videos I was watching. I enjoy seeing other people's collections!

The Versace Experience is not a reissue. It was never released for sale. At the VH1 Rock and Fashion show a cassette tape of it was giving away to audience member. The release you have is the for for sale copy made.

I don't know about U but I am kinda Pissed they didn't release the Deluxe Purple Rain On vinyl. Pluss they left some really good songs off of it And the could have released the un-edited version of the songs as well considering ever song was edited in someway or another. They should re-release it as a Super Deluxe. Good collection but I always include the protégés also considering they do some of my favorite Prince sings.

Hi Dan, I would question the 1999 Australian copy. I have an Australian copy and the label is different as 1999 and prince are at the top of the label. Could it actually be a New Zealand copy you have?

It could be, similar to my ones and mine are all Kiwi copies to 1987 when we stopped pressing records and imported Australian and then German stocks. Kiwi records usually have fatter centre parts. Like Australia though, all singles will have WEA covers, but Warners labels for pre 1985 ones (Paisley park afterwards).
