Normally, in a Prince interview you can tell that they were versed in advance in regards to what questions 'not to ask' as opposed to which ones 'to ask.' First time watching this. This was great. Prince wasn't comfortable with everyone. They flowed nicely.

Chris Rock did not get that in Min 3:12 Prince was telling him that he was sexually abused as a child when the mother remarried, its unbelievable...( learning the birds & bees the hard way by the mother and this had an influence on his sexuality?) I mean, its obvious what he was telling Rock, the tool just did not get it, like most people who watched this,...

Great questions! It felt like Chris really put thought into asking intelligent and deep questions that draw on his own experiences as an artist as well as on his love for Prince's work.

Chris Rock was very fortunate to be able to say he interviewed Prince!! From what has been told, he didn't normally allow himself to be interviewed!! There will never be another musician and artist like Prince!! He played multiple instruments and very well!!! He composed, arranged, and produced his own music!!! How many can actually say that? I think when Prince realized how valuable he was, the record companies recognized he was a force to be reckoned with. He wasn't going to allow himself to be manipulated and coerced into signing shady deals. I am sure he upset a lot of executives when he chose to follow his own path and do his own thing. Hence, the creation of his own label!! I have much respect for Prince for owning his music and not allowing the sharks to take a bite out of his creations!!! His freedom to do what he enjoyed and to perform with intensity is definitely missed. He created real music playing many of the instruments himself. He was an amazing artist who is definitely missed!!! RIP Prince!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
