Thanks for the guide. I just started playing and managed to pick up Thoth, Sekhmet, Gengchen, Lingguang, Yingzhao, Hera, Anubis, and i still have my selector which will likely be used for buzenbo or maybe izanami unless i get lucky on my next pulls. Pretty wild event for a newcomer!

As a brand new newbie who pulled Somezakura and Thoth in my first 20 pulls, I'm absolutely loving Somezakura's playstyle. It also helps that I have the full pheasant squad. I believe it's Yellow Somezakura where you start with the full divine meter -- round starts, hit s3, clear round in 5-15 seconds. Absolutely busted. I blasted my way through the boss challenges and unlocked Arctic Abyss Poseidon on day 2 of PC launch. Shinou death squad carried me all the way to account level 39 on day 3, just waiting for more energy to continue the main story line. I have Thoth, her sig functor, and Sekhmet, but Somezakura is just so damn fun to play. Easily T0 for me. I'm currently pulling Lingguang and Hera, and I'm saving my selector if I lose my 50-50s again.

Honestly as a returning playing this is nice to see. I plan on skipping S oniroi even though my dark team is my best built team. I need other teams beside dark and fire. I plan on getting Throth, Sekmet, and Gengchin and pick up Selene and S oniroi later

Gengchen at T0 is good judgement. If you want to farm comfortably, she's that unit. The main reason why she's not top on many tier lists is because a lot of the content recently has been tailor made for bosses but any AoE check like Spirit Capture or events, she's just the best. For new players, Hazard Zone below omega is an AoE check so Gengchen will feel like an OP unit for a while. And even in boss contents, she's the top 3rd member for Jinwu's team; and the only viable Water team now and up to the latest patch of CN is her and Zhiming.

gangchen really is super useful i put her as the 3rd slot on all sorts of teamcomps when i dont need the utility from lingguang, like flame tyr and corrupted kagu with the grouping for example

I like this tier list for newer players, however, I think Jinwu deserves to also be mentioned as I think she is easier to master for beginners, having unlimited dodge whilst in the air. Jinwu in the air doesn't need to finish "combos" to gain charge and can spam her skills in between dodges. I have skill issues with Izanami, where I can never finish combos without getting hit/interrupted, so my damage numbers with her are a lot lower than with Jinwu. That being said, it was one of your videos which showed me how to play Jinwu and there isn't one from you on Izanami yet, so maybe with proper guidance, I can also use her better haha.

Ive just returned to the game. Did a couple of pulls (I believe no more than 10), and I got Thoth and another 🔥 damage S ranked. Damn

The ever mod you'll need in the game from early to end game is JINWU. Get her to SSS as much as you can and max out everything else on her as much as you can. Having a fully built Jinwu makes the game so trivial it's like playing with cheats. Every other modifiers is just to freshen up your playstyle by trying out different team comps, plus taking on end game content that requires multiple teams w/ specific requirements. Ever since Jinwu came out. I've been using her 90% of the time, even when I have other T0's that are decently built I still go back to using her even if all you do is spam normal attacks. She's just has the highest amount of DPS for the least amount of effort.

S Kali is the new lightning support for S Buzenbo team. She does make her team stronger.But as far as I know it's not by a huge margin.

Man I just started last month (this October 25th) and man oh man I can already say my main accnt is so busted cuz it has Gencheng as my starter SSR then got Zhiming afterwards. And now I've got myself Thot, Lingguang and Sekmeth (via free SSR pick (which I didn't realize that it's there until I checked my storage which saves me for pulling her).

Just a suggestions; drop everything on 5+2 lingguang sig. You'll need it for 90% of the low-mid level teams invested

Gengchen stands at the top for me, and you can't change the fact. At this point I can't even imagine playing a gamemode with her not being as the support mod. She just pulls everyone together for us to nuke and bombard the Enemies.

Currently you need 8 well built teams to complete the end game mode. So yea bud you should get back to the grind and catch up

I like this game, but the truth is that its popularity fell quickly. Leaving aside reveneu(losing pvp month after month), even in China they don't even talk much about Aether Gazer. In Bilibili, even with their latest updates, they did not occupy the top 20 positions. In Global, dead social networks. And no one on Twitch. More gacha games are coming and it is difficult to overcome in an oversaturated market.😢

True. Lot's of gacha games the have been released for more than 5 years have been starting to hit their EOS. Take Final Fantasy Brave Exvius for example, that has completely shutdown just this October after an 8 year long run. Most gacha games peak around their fifth or sixth year, and by then, their popularity slowly dies down due to newer ones entering the market and getting left behind in terms of technology.

I need some kind of advice I'm still kinda new (started when S Buzenbo came out) So far I managed to build few teams Fire team - Jinwu, Lingguang and Gengchen Water team - Zhiming, Gengchen and Lingguang Lightning team - S Buzenbo, Tsukuyomi and Kotachi Other S units that i have are Hades, Sekhmet, Asura and Poseidon I'm planning to get Thoth So my question is what unit should i save for in future? kinda wanted to work on that shadow team but i had to skip Oneiroi for Thoth.. can shadow team work without Oneiroi haha Also who can be 3rd unit in physical team?

1. Yes, hades shadow team work well with just selene and hera 2. Lingguang is the best 3rd slot for physical 3. You can go for luliang and do wind team with asura

As a new player, this patch with the PC client has been insane, been able to get S Buzenbo to SS, Lingguang, Thoth in my 3rd single pull + sig functor, Mitsuha, Tsukuyomi, Jin-Ei and my favorite A-Rank, Bastet to SS so far Crazy for new players🔥

It's gonna be in a PERMANENT event type banner. So don't worry about loosing the chance to get her. Almost everyone who plays AG sufficiently will have her. No shifted stars needed. Or so I guess

Gengchen i have to disagree, i guess T0.5 or T1 is more suited, reason being her only universal support is just gather mobs and element resist debuff and armor break debuff, in which we know buff is always better than debuff. Even then her main buff support came from her signature functor and it's restricted to only support Tianyuan units. So it's not as universal as Lingguang. That's why she's lower. However the rest of your tier is acceptable.
