For A Tomato Flames the first A is airspeed indicator not . Anti- collision you mentions in the acronym FLAPs
@Polynesianpilot8 ай бұрын
Anti collision lights is part of a tomato flames. As well as flaps Most use the last A as anti collision but as long as you remember Altimeter Airspeed indicator Anti collision Doesn’t matter where it’s said

Just a note on the explanation of lift given in your document. In the pilot community, the understanding of lift is usually given with a combination of Bernoulli's principle and newton's third law but with a lot of common misconceptions. This video on youtube does a great job clearing alot of these misconceptions and giving a more full complete understanding of lift. kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4qVoYZjrb12lbc The explanations are just so common now in the pilot community, that there's not a whole lot one can do to prevent the misconceptions from being taught...

Great video! Thanks. When Part 2? I have my checkride in the next month or so. I like how you noted the FAR/AIM. Is that referenced anywhere online or did you do that yourself? That's super helpful!

Sorry.....looks like it might be in the Mock Oral PDF in your link.

Hye buddy nice video can you provide me the list of the questions will be asked in check ride oral exam
@jamesfrels749210 ай бұрын
Great content. Thanks & Congratulations. Question. What are the exact open book materials you are legally allowed to bring & reference during the oral portion of the check ride?
@atxpilot10 ай бұрын
It's an open book test. You can use anything as long as it's not blatantly meant to give you all the answers to the whole test
@jamesfrels749210 ай бұрын
Right. I was looking for a yes or no on books I could bring. Ex. Yes I can bring the Far Aim or no I cannot bring the P HAK, or use for flight etc. Is it just a grey area ? Because “open book” without a specific list can be interpreted & then used differently.
